This is great! I discovered the magic of eyeliner in high school and refused to take it off for 2 years. I literally slept with it on so I would get a "smokey" look the next day. Now looking back at it I looked like a panda. lol My grandma would always tell me to stop wearing so much make up but I would roll my eyes because I thought I was the hottest thing. Geez. Wish I saw this back then! haha Love your videos! xoxo

This is great. These kids don't know how much easier it is for them these days! I had no clue what I was doing with makeup and there weren't really any tutorials to learn from. Omg I remember my bad makeup days...I used kids makeup along with dark foundation to give me a tan...black eyeliner for my blonde brows and bronzer all over my face I looked like a clown! Thank goodness there is KZfaq nowadays to show us the proper way of applying it. Love Valerias natural makeup looks!

That's a really interesting video because I'm French and I'm sometimes surprised on all the makeup the Americans girl can put on KZfaq in France that would be too much and people aren't used to that moreover I think it hide the natural beauty so I think it's good to show to all the young girls who are watching your videos that we can do something natural and be absolutely beautiful like you are ! Yup, I did those dark, super angular boxy carved out brows back around 2013/2014😂I cringe a little at photos from then, but I really loved it at the time. I think it can sometimes look nice on instagram with certain makeup, but on myself I prefer a much softer lighter look now

I just loved watching you do this! So real! We all go through awkward ordeals as teens. I have very pale skin, and when I was a teen, my mother insisted on me wearing this bright red lipstick 💄....night or day didn’t matter. I thought I looked so cool. I look back at those pics now and laugh! I looked like a clown! 😂 I still have trouble making bronzer and blush look natural on me because I’m so pale. Sigh. One day, ha ha! Blessings to you❣️

I use almost all of those apparent mistakes you listed (except for the giant eyeliner and non-triangular concealer application) and I look damn good, especially the vibrant lipsticks. To each their own I guess but these arent really mistakes, just personal preferences. My friend does hee eyeliner very big on a daily basis and she KILLS IT.

Amazing :) If it makes you feel beautiful then ROCK IT! These are personal preferences and mostly are mistakes because of application or wrong combo (huge eyeliner and very bright lip). xx
