Hi friends! In this GRWM with me I will be creating a soft summer makeup look with the Viseart Paris Reveries palette while I tell you the story of how I found and rescued my new little kitten, Luka. I love the story. I am a huge cat lover. We adopted a cat who was 18. The most loving and adorable cat. I would put food out at night for him but I would open the front door at around 10pm to check on him and I found a skunk at my front door eating the food so I quickly closed the door. I checked at 11pm and found a mama raccoon and her 2 babies looking at me. The midnight check I found an opossum. Decided I was done putting food out at night. I finally decided to bring the cat in. He became our indoor cat for 2 years until he was too ill and we had to have him euthanized. This was last October. We were devastated. We are an older couple and we do a lot of traveling so we have not adopted another cat yet. I’ve decided I might do fostering especially the baby kitties. Thank you for the wonderful story!

I loved this story! I am so similar when it comes to animals. i have rescued ducklings, turtles, birds, rabbits and most recently an injured bat - any animal in distress, I cannot leave them behind. Congrats on expanding your family! I have to tell you that while this video was playing, you were mimicking a cat begging for attention and my dogs jumped up barking and running around to figure out what was making that sound. I was dying laughing. So enjoyed this story, and so did Keiko and Dax 🐶

You’re such a great storyteller Sophia! I literally felt like I was standing behind you and Taylor on that night trying to catch Luka! He’s so stinking cute! I’m so happy Minnie accepted him and now you have a happy family! I’ve been watching everything unfolding on instagram but it was great to hear the whole full story here. I clicked on this sooooo fast! Congratulations on your kitten! Major cat lady here. We adopted a kitten this past February, and recently adopted a 1 year old cat. They are the best of friends! It took them only a day or 2 for them to feel completely comfortable with each other. Now, they are inseparable.

Thank you, Sofia ☺️ The cat lady that i am... simply adored this video, would love more of these 😆 So happy when I see ppl adopting or just helping stray animals ❤️ I have 3 rescues myself... Had planned only 1😄, then fostered another one for a year that no one wanted to adopt and I've decided to keep her. Afterwards I've been fostering for ngo-s and some that I had found, similar to your story. But have managed somehow to find adopters. This winter I noticed 2 cats sleeping in the 15 cm snow near my building and my heart couldn't take it. I started to feed them and then caught them. One found a home, the other one is just unadoptable as he has FIV and small heart failure. No one chooses a sick cat in Bulgaria, no matter how sweet he is and now with the amount of stray babies anyways... I cannot return him to the streets, would not leave him in shelter, we don't even have cat shelters to be precise, so I worry my two other cats could FIV too, I've read about all the possible ways to transfer it but chose to risk it. He is a beautiful loving cuddly soul, looks like Luka but with green eyes 💚

Such a cute kitten and what a lovely story. My son (34) and his wife live in Abu Dhabi (w are all Icelandic but he studied in MIT and has been working for 3 years over there (before in Boston and than NY) and they are obsessed with cats and somehow keep rescuing kittens that are in a way “led to them” so they actually have four cats now and a fifth living with his in-laws here in Iceland because he was a little more hard to adjust to the two youngest. They haven’t had children yet because they want to bring them up here in Iceland so I think it is so kind of them to rescue these pretty little adorable creatures from the streets (the two youngest the found in the car park of their building and what they use to do is the same as you, to use the spare bathroom to adjust them an than slowly introduce them to the older. Then I enjoy getting sent videos and watching them on FaceTime ❤

Hi! Sofia, enjoy while it last! Cats’ childhood goes by very quickly 😢. I had a similar story and I can say their bond will get stronger after that chaotic (but lovely) phase. I rescued my cat while I was living in Thailand (he looks like Luka), then we moved to Japan and of course he came with us. Then we got our second cat named Luka too… he was the craziest cat ever while he was a kitty. They’re the best friends. Lovely story ❤!!

I wouldn't have thought you were crazy at all if I'd seen you. You absolutely did the right thing, outdoor cats have much shorter lives and many suffer terribly from hunger and disease. I have several cats I found outside, I wish we could get a handle on spaying and neutering so cats didn't have to suffer. I enjoyed your story, thank you for rescuing Luka!

Good for you for rescuing the kitty. You are a good person, too many people wouldn't have done what you and Tyler did. My husband and I took in a stray years ago that had babies and we ended up keeping all of them. Sadly the mama kitty passed away but she had a great life with us and was an old girl. Your kitties will end up happy to have each other.

Yes, I’m a catmom too and I at least melted away 100 times during this video - such a hartwarming story ❤. Thanks for rescueing this little pal, he would definitely not have survived in the bushes. Now he has a warm, caring and comfy home with a little family. Jackpot for Luka, and being with an elder lady cat might be a bit of a replacement for his own mom. I hope to see them both in your vids every now and then 😊.

Bless you for rescuing a kitten!!! I always hit the like button for your videos but today the kitty got the like 🥰 Little sweetheart darling angel baby 🤎🤍 Love the name you chose for him! I got a kitten 1.5 yrs ago and I named him Gucci. I forgot how much energy kittens have, and the curiosity level is unmatched. He still follows me wherever I go and he’s the best buddy ever! I’m also a cat lady through & through. I just rescued one too a few weeks ago too. I think the light pink lipstick would look best with a lip liner.

Awww! Luka is adorable and Minnie (did I spell that right)? is a sweetheart! Btw, we have the same Mau cat tree. I have 4 Singapura cats - they may be the last cats we have, so we wanted our favorite breed. Before them we had 2 rescues. We also once rescued a kitten on the Lower East Side of NYC. She had an umbilical hernia. We didn’t have room in our apartment, so we paid for her operation and an adoption fee to a no kill shelter and later heard she was adopted by a family. It really does make one feel good to rescue animals and even though we have purebreds now, we contribute a lot to animal charities. Btw, you and Tyler did a great job! I think this is a happy ending for all!

Minnie is managing him. She's establishing her dominance. She's OK with him in her house, as long as he knows it's Hers. Plus she's helping to raise him. And you now have a new baby in the house. I'm a night person too, and every kitten does this for the first year or two. But you are so lucky! Most feral cats don't socialize well. We used to have a lot of feral cats in our area, and they typically make terrible pets. In fact, it makes me wonder if he was raised in a home that couldn't find homes for their kittens, and they finally released them hoping someone like you can along. FYI, I got the Surratt Relevee Mascara and I hate it. What am I doing wrong? it doesn't lengthen and it flakes. I bought it because I thought you loved it. So, is it me?💚

This kitty story is the story of my life. 😂 I have so many stories like this. When I was pregnant I put a lost GERMAN SHEPARD in my car to the vet to look for a micro chip, brought him home where my own dog was recovering from surgery and made like 1,000 phone calls and by a miracle found where his owner lived and they got their dog back. But, looking back I put a random German Shepard while pregnant in my car? What was I thinking? But, like you, I felt like the universe put him in my path to help him. I am also a crazy cat person. Watching this video with my 2 rescue cats as I type this. Luca is adorable! You are a cat angel. ❤

OMG you made my day! Luka is adorable …..and so happy to see both cats getting along! I know exactly how you felt when you saw that little guy in the park…..I would do the same thing! I’m a huge animal lover and I keep a little rescue stash of treats in my car to give in case ! Also often outside at the grocery stores there is sadly someone sitting on the ground with an animal hoping for some help. So I purchase something for the animal and donate it on my way out. I would feel so bad if I didn’t do anything… Oh! BTY I love the Queen Musa lipstick on you😉

If you’re unsure, you could always add a touch of lip liner (like CT iconic Nude or Supersize Me) on your upper lip line for some definition. But I think it works! Looks summery and fresh

Same girl, same!! My latest rescue is a young female cat someone left at our local trash-dump!! She's doing great, an unwed-mother to 3 brand new babies (I'm sure that's why whoever dumped her out, they didn't want her or any babies), and like you, there was no way when she came up to me at the dump I was leaving her there!! I'm the exact same way when an animal is in danger, I'll do absolutely anything to help, and Tyler is a great boyfriend, too!!!

Hi Sofia, Luca is so cute!😻😻😻I am glad you showed Minnie because now we can’t see her around. I have a similar story. The difference is that my rescue cat is a girl and I already had a ragdoll boy. My husband found her in the front of the house. She was very little (about 1 1/2- 2 months old and very scared. We decided to keep her and my boy accepted her. She is two years old now, still shy and scared when we have guests (she always finds a place to hide) but when we are alone she is very affectionate and playful.🙂 Love your story!💕

Awesome story ❤ and Luka looks very cheeky. I have 3 cats...first I had my two ginger ninja girls Buffy and Willow...then a year later a work friend had got a cat but her daughter was allergic asked me did I want to meet him....and he came for a weekend visit and never left. Fenrir loves to torment his sisters and he is a black and white Norwegian Forest Cat weighing in at 8.5 kilos. We also feed and take care of a neighbourhood cat who left its home due to them getting a dog, and he is named Stumpy and is our outdoor cat. Love our fur babies and they make our home feel full ❤

What a story Sofia! I think my pulse was 150 while you told this story! I am so happy and to hear this wonderful story. You and Tyler are huge hearted ❤and I can relate, because me and my hubby have rescued lots of cats over the years. You and Tyler make quite the team! 😊 I feel your emotions and am reliving the cat rescue experience! I’m so so proud of you and thanks for including the pictures! Luka is a beauty and will be forever bonded to you and Tyler, because you fed him and now he’s “yours”. It sounds like that Katy trail needs TNR. Me and hubby did it for a dozen cats in the neighborhood we live in. It’s the best thing for the feral cat issue. It’s wonderful. But I have to warn you, once you start in with cats, it can start to become a thing. We are now “cat people “ 😂😅😊❤❤

What a wonderful story. Luka is adorable and the luckiest kitty in the world to have been found by you! Minnie truly is the best cat. Omg I was so invested in this story, Luka is just so adorable!! 💕I'm also a huge cat lady, they're just the best! I'm so happy that this story had a happy ending because it's so painful to think of all the stray animals in the world, you and your boyfriend are truly lovely & kind humans. The footage of Minnie and Luka is so cute, you can tell she's intrigued & it's so great that they get along, my cat Mia is so territorial, when we bring over my sister's cat she's always hissing at him so I don't think she would be as nice as Minnie if we ever got another cat😅! Thank you so much for sharing, this video made my day. Hope you and your fur babies are doing well! P.S. I really liked the final look, very soft and pretty!

OMG - Sofia, you are going to MAKE me figure out what to do with Instagram so I can get the really good news! Love hearing about your cat adventures! I did have a cat growing up, but am more of a dog person now. Two years ago I added a baby Yorkie to the mix of a 13 year old rescued Pekingese, and an Amazon parrot (also rescued). I had the same play pen - in fact I had one upstairs and one downstairs so I wouldn’t have to move them. One morning I put Charlotte in the pen while I went into the bathroom to get ready. The older dog followed me in there, then Ms. Drama Queen started screeching something to the effect she was going to DIE if she didn’t get out of that pen right them. Apollo sort of gave me a chin lift, like “I’ve got this,” then trotted in to check on her. A few seconds later he comes back with baby Charlotte looking proud of himself. I learned that when she wanted out, he simply put his paw on the side and pushed it down until she could hop out. That was when we quit using the pens. The older dog also potty trained her and taught her to get on the paper, as well as how to go up and down the stairs. By the way, your eyes were stunning, as usual. I may have to get that pallet, even though I don’t actually need it. All of your makeup is beautiful, but to me the lips looked a little unnatural on you being that light. I have the same problem. You can enjoy your trip now that you have emergency family backup.

All of the pet friends I have had in my life have been rescue animals. Nothing better than giving a sweet soul the beautiful life they deserve! You are a great storyteller Sofia and in my opinion a very nice person, your boyfriend a very decent man. Your boyfriend and you are The Match I think. I wish all the best to both of you. I have also enjoyed the close-up makeup application. We can see how the products perform. Yes the foundation is beautiful, skinlike. I am not sure about the shade of the lipstick. It is a beautiful colour, I would have to see you sitting on the couch with the natural light enlighting you from behind. It is very delicate yes. I think for summer why not. Thank you for sharing with us your privacy and now you have a real leopard as the one on the Hermes scarf, the mystere. I like it as well and too much for my taste...😊😇🤔
