August 6th I married my Soul Mate in a small, COVID church ceremony. My Daughter suggested hiring a make up artist, however after watching your tutorials the past few years and practicing ahead of time, I SUCCESSFULLY applied my own make up. Best wishes to you both 🍾 I did the same , own hair make up . I couldn't justify paying a lot of money for( married in Vegas & would have cost more than the wedding ! ) something I knew I'd feel uncomfortable with & probably disliking the results .

You are sooooooo right. I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety for many years, raising children who have Autism but I tell ya, everyday I make sure that I do my hair, put on makeup, wear jewelry, I have to do those things for myself! 💗

I got a super inexpensive stainless steel fluid (water, I presume) set of cooling ‘drops’ off Amazon HIGHLY recommended. I used spoons for decades, but she’s right, the bigger tool is so much better

Tried these today. I have been crying a lot and not looking well in the eyes. I had forgotten about color correction. Sure makes a difference. I did the neutral eye shadow and the corner part you do. Such a lift. No one will do lashes for me but I sure would love to- mine are not even showing with mascara. Pulled out my white liner- what a great idea! I felt so much better- just like you said! Thank you for this video. I too have been feeling under the weather. My mom, whom I lost only 2 months ago always taught me that one should look your best when feeling your worst. It is a way to help you feel better inside and out. I was missing her words of wisdom so much today and this video brought me to that warm place of her loving to look good on even her worst days.

You are so right about making the effort to look better when you don’t feel well. I would add that this idea helps those of us who work from home. Just putting on some makeup sets the professional tone for the day, even in casual, comfortable clothes. The added benefit is when we are on a Teams conference and the boss calls on you…you can turn the camera on and show everyone you mean business. Thanks for all you do for us!

I've been waiting to finally see you back rested, and well! So sorry that you then ended up feeling under the weather while you were gone, Dominique. I'm glad you are 'on the mend', however, and feeling better than you were, previously! I've been putting just cream-coloured pencil on my lower waterline for awhile now, and foregoing lower eyeshadow, and mascara below my eyes, and I think it definitely looks better for me! It's so interesting that this works for you. I have to do the opposite to open my eyes - white shadow on the llid and a darker brown on the crease and above the crease. (Light again below the brows.) I cannot use dark on my lid or it makes my eyes look smaller. I think it's because your eyes are deeper set or you have more room there I think. :)

You read my mind or my tired eyes! I have been using a white lower eyeliner and it really makes a difference. I keep forgetting about the color correcting. Thank you so much and I hope all is well with you! Peace and Love ☮❤
