I am an older woman and I totally agree with you, don't usually watch beauty channels but Nikol is intentionally transparent meaning honest and I feel really optimistic and positive when I watch this channel ... I also love her intro, hello ladies, I am 64 and a retired University prof with some tenure and I would say hi guys and still will I just like Nikol for her spirit and also she really has no idea how beautiful she is which cracks me up.

Because she has grey hair, no one is commenting on how young her features are. Firm jawline and no wrinkles at 48. That is remarkable, I find. She must have great genes and take good care of herself. Very pretty lady.

I thought that about myself until mid-50s which perhaps was genes but in 2 yrs with nothing changing loose skin you name it. It still is a bit of a hilarious existential crisis; I grew out of my younger self and now 65 do not work out but hiking yes for me plus dogs and always find a place to swim and my skin care is minimal but consistent I think at 70 I will feel great and then have another look at life. I love these videos because of positive energy, I did not go grey. I waited until my hair was growing out white and it took eighteen months to get something going I personally do Marlene Dietrich which is easy to look after etc. Wonderful sense of women as friends!

@@toniecat1028 Wow, the amount of mean comments on KZfaq is astounding. People work hard at putting content for others, and then some folks (who, for some reason, watch the videos, go figure) will say the nastiest things gratuitously and anonymously. If you don't like Nikol, why don't you just move on to another youtuber instead of being a nasty bully?

When I was in my 50s I told my sister that I didn't have a face anymore. She didn't understand because she's clueless. The biggest thing was that my eyebrows were thinning and I needed fill them in. I needed to realize this as my adult life I never wore make up. Sometimes women would stop me in a store and tell me my skin was so beautiful and what did I do. The only thing I did was wash my face with soap and water as my face was very oily. I used to have beautiful long black hair. As it turned gray I did not have white hair but rather ugly sick brownish color. At about 60 I began to do maintenance on myself that i never had to before lol. I'm now 70 and I take collagen capsules to keep my nails from breaking off and I noticed that before this I was getting wrinkles this year. Your channel is about the best I've seen. Way too many channels are devoted to very young people who slather make up on like crazy when they don't even need to.

Enjoyed this video so much, love your series for older women. I'm your lovely mother's age. Since retiring I've gotten out of the habit of full face make-up. Since I began watching your videos (mainly stopping the madness of coloring my hair), I'm on my third attempt to let it grow out. She (the lady at the beginning of the video) has the same pattern of grey hair grow-in that I have. She is really stunning!! I have not colored my hair in at least 15 years, so I have no issues with roots (thank God!). I love my silver crown! It is so pretty!

It totally makes sense to do eyes first and then to spot the concealer after the foundation. Probably saving on the concealer in the long run as well as the foundation does most of the work.

I used to cut all my tubes to get every last drop of the product too, but then I started using my tube wringer that I bought to get my paint out of their tubes, but thought...ah ha! I can use it for my sunscreen, toothpaste, and make up too! and no more having to bag up the cut tube to keep the remaining product from drying out. Jenelle Sp? is beautiful, the make up really brought out her eyes, and her lips are full and pretty. I'm going to check out those eyelashes. They look so natural on her.

Hi Nikol. It's great to see you n the women you work on with grey hair. Wish I could grey like you all. 50% of the hair on my scalp are grey but they don't grow beyond an inch, that's where my greys are limited too. It looks disgusting. I have mid-back length hair. Please suggest how I can go grey naturally, perhaps a hairstyle.

I like my brows to go straight across. I don't like the 'surprise' look nor the 'droopy' look; I'm 73 with a light brown complexion!😊 Her eyes have become red; is the makeup irritating them?

Nikons gray hair really isn’t a gray hair look it is a look of highlights and lowlights. Real grey hair on older women make them look very very old to say otherwise is just a gimmick

I think she looks too painted. If you ever travel to France you see very chic French women who look like they have no makeup on at all but they do. They don't wear eye shadow, just emphasize skin care, a bit of mascara and a red lip. I think American women (especially the makeup tutorials on KZfaq) show overly made up women with dark eye shadow, fake eyelashes, eyeliner, contouring, highlighting, etc which displays the makeup but hides the true beauty of the woman.
