Makhadzi Denies Receiving Funds from Gayton Mckenzie's Sports Ministry

Renowned artist Makhadzi has vehemently denied receiving R230,000 from the Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture over the past 14 months, as claimed by the ministry.
In an emotional response, Makhadzi alleged that individuals have been misusing her name to receive funds from the department, and she is being unfairly implicated.

Am I missing something here? Minister Mckenzie didn't mention names. I think she misread Minister's tweet.

The minister said he has a list of all artists being funded and those who were paid by the department from Covid19 maybe they called her to enquire about her funding and only to find out that she's not being funded but paid by the department whereas the department claims otherwise? So there might be lots of payments made by Arts/Culture which never reached intended recipients.

Why is she lying her company says 200000 she says nothing higher that 100000 she wants pity why though you already have millions , money is money and they paid you over 200000 just stay humble and say thank you ,joh when becoming famous think the world revolves around you

Can someone please teach the department the difference between Funding and Paying someone for services rendered. Just because they asked her to perform and subsequently paid her for it doesn't equate to them funding her.

What is the probability that the invoices at the department might be claiming that most artists are funded as to rather being paid for services rendered? That would mean lots of corruption will be uncovered so yeah they must be published as they are then artist can come forward with correct information then SIU must intervene and assets must be attached.
