Making 1/72 Huge Medieval Epic Diorama: Joan of Arc Siege of Orleans 1429 | Series One

This time I designed and created a huge epic scene that recreates the famous battle of Joan of Arc, the Siege of Orleans. The scale is 1/72, in this part I just finished the part of the Tourelles.
The Siege of Orleans (October 12, 1428 - May 8, 1429) marked a turning point in the Hundred Years' War between France and England. I consulted many sources and did my best to recreate the scene as it was, to give a complete representation of this very famous medieval battle.

Very cool diorama, and I liked the historical explanation as well. The AI generated voice over however is very bothersome - please consider voicing the video yourselves if possible!

Splendid!!! 1/72 is my favourite scale and this is just wonderful! After watching your video I finally decided to start sculpting Joan of Arc in Blender, a print of which I will send you for your diorama when finished.

You could make it much easier by setting it in 1431. All you need is a burnt stick. 😊

Nice work, but why you keep figures on their bases? It destroys the whole diorama realisim.

Many of the models I have made in the past have been placed in display cases as decorative items. But this time I wanted to make a realistic and playable scene. Happy to see my daughter loves playing with it and creating her own armies and battles. That is one of the reasons I find this hobby rewarding. Thanks for enjoying it.😄
