[Ingredients]
*Sauce
Cooking oil 5 tbsp (35g)
Ground pork (rear leg) 1 cup (150g)
Green onion 1/2 cup (40g)
Minced garlic 1 tbsp (15g)
Dark soy sauce 1 tbsp (10g)
Brown sugar 1 & 1/2 tbsp (15g)
Coarse red pepper powder 1 tbsp (5g)
Fine red pepper powder 1 tbsp (5g)
Soybean paste 1 tbsp (15g)
Red pepper paste 4 tbsp (60g)
Fine salt 1/4 tbsp (2g)
MSG 1/3 tbsp (3g)
Pepper
Water 2 cup (360g)
*Junghwajeyukmyeon
Cooking oil 2 tbsp (20g)
Green onion 1/3 cup (30g)
Onion 1/3 cup (40g)
Cabbage 2/3 cup (60g)
Squash 2/3 cup (60g)
Kalguksu noodles 150g
[Directions]
*Sauce
1. Finely chop the green onion.
2. Add cooking oil to a pan, infuse it with the green onion.
3. Once the oil is infused, add ground pork and break it apart.
4. When the pork turns golden, add brown sugar.
5. Add dark soy sauce to bring out the flavor.
6. Add soybean paste, red pepper paste, and minced garlic, and keep stir-frying over medium heat.
7. Add red pepper powder, mix it in, and then add water and pepper.
8. Add Miwon if desired and boil down to thicken.
9. Season with salt.
*Junghwajeyukmyeon
1. Cook kalguksu noodles in boiling water.
2. Rinse the cooked kalguksu noodles under cold water.
3. Pour hot water over the rinsed noodles.
4. Add cooking oil to a pan and heat it up.
5. Once heated, add onion and green onion and stir-fry until scorched.
6. Add squash and cabbage and stir-fry.
7. Add the sauce to the vegetables, reduce heat, and stir-fry until the veggies soften.
8. Put cooked noodles in a bowl and pour over the sauce to finish.
