Making $2 Toys into Warhammer

This toy dinosaur make for a really awesome model with a few tweaks here and there. super easy and fun for anyone to work on!

I made these completely from scratch using maya, Inspired by GameWorkshops and Total War Warhammer 2.

Looks awesome. I love doing this for Dungeons & Dragons. I'm actually taking some lizard-men units right now and mixing them with Dinosaur toys.

You inspired me to make my own. I gave my 5 year old daughter £5 to buy one of her dinos and got to work on it. Love it all and the base is fantastic

My old roommate once did something similar but the 3D printed part once again steps the level up just that much more. Splendid, I'm excited to see how the others turn out.

I would love to see someone do things like this, but, add on some gattling cannons to make a mech version of lizardmen riding a carnasaur..

what an absolute legend! the dino looks great!! one thing does bug me, is the cheap jungle leaves you used for the base. I think with a quick paint job of the leaves would make it look more 'real' and less toy-ish and plasticy. still, an amazing build, that i need to try out!

Honestly quite a good proxy idea! The dino model itself is quite expensive for what it is. Maybe I played my Lizardmen wrong but I almost NEVER used mine save for a 4000 point match as generally (and seen other plays too) favour spending the points on a Slann and more Skinks. Great video as always mate!

@@VidovicArts That's the issue with proxies haha trying to find something good to fit :) Yours fits quite well really and always good to have your general looking a little different from the other Saurus leaders :). I'm still playing so always out online looking for ideas haha! Had a 16000 point game before the end of the year, 8 players 4v4. Dwarfs X3 + High Elves vs Chaos Dwarfs (Mantic proxies - They are super cool!), Skaven (Mine), Dark Elves and Warriors of Chaos! 10 and a half hour game but it was awesome and the models people used to distinguish their leaders were great!

@@VidovicArts Ten and a half hours :) It was INSANE! I had fielded 153 models think we had a total of 1000 on field honestly it was INTENSE the mantic models are awesome totally recommend them! :D I was leading my teams side it was insane only 6 turns played the "good" side had to concede after my CLANRATS demolished the High Elves dragon princes in close combat. So many 6's :D lol

Man I love your stuff. Since you're doing cool Warhammer stuff with a clear interest in Virmintide - How about modelling that little statue of Sigmar in the intro of Virmintide 2? That shit would be dope - It also is shaped to be quite easily FDM printed if I remember correctly..

I dont personally play AoS but Seraphon are one of my favorite factions. Im looking forward to theyr warband in warhammer underworlds. On the subject of the figures youve acquired i think the ankilosaurus might be the right size for the Aun Engine if im right. Dont really know the units names. Also i must mention the whole disolving sprue leftovers in acetone to reuse the material. You could use it as filler or to make stones and things for basing.

@@VidovicArts Do you have a photo of that particular Star Dragon model? I can't seem to find it, offcourse it doesn't exist no more on the games workshop store which is a shame in my opinion. There is only one model of a Black Dragon. The lore alone of the Star Dragon which you can find on the Warhammer wiki (everybody loves the warhammer wiki! 😄)is amazing : "Our brethren from the oldest times, the purest and truest expression of the power of life that this world has to offer. Once the skies were filled with their graceful forms and they danced about the thermals that flow over the mountains in intricate mating rituals that were a joy to behold.
