The Sea Scorpions are more effective than the Aegis Cruiser against crowds. Aegis Cruisers' missiles self-destruct when the target is destroyed.

1:52 look at that lucky transport leading the charge at that point and get totally ignored by the angry boats until it is too late. Guess they are so angry they can't even see properly. It also seems like sea scorpions don't do too well if the target is too close as they just start spinning around and just guess game where to attack while loosing precious rate of fire.

The soviet air defense has area of effect attack, it looks like they are missing the target, but they actually damage multiple enemies.
