here in southern USA we used to do this to make flower pots.i have some made decades ago.they last forever.the top edge would usually be cut in some design.

Hi mark we do it to wwn ww buy new tires for the car or truck we stay with old tires n flip it inside out n wen its inside out we cut sides instars so wen its dine it looks like a flower seed. Nice pot for plants

If you look carefully you'll see he holds the nails flat between the upper fingers? Almost like a gun magazine? He rolls one out after one has been nailed in? Kinda like origami with nails and rubber ?!

amigo, tenes idea de como hacen el fondo? entiendo que es de otro neumatico, pero como lo cortan de la banda de rodadura?

@@Daniel_Herrero Amigo creo que esa parte la sacan de las viejas correas transportadoras esas que usan en canteras, ya que si vemos por mas grande el neumatico no hay forma de sacar ese fondo si detallas bien el corte realizado para ajustarlo se ve que esta compuesto con goma y una especie de hilo asi son las coreas yo creo que es de ahi voy a ver si logro averiguarlo, saludos y respetos para usted desde Venezuela.

Any time I watch a TV show that is about ancient Egypt Archology, I see these baskets being used to carry sand away. I could always tell that they were old tires, but I wasn't sure how they made them like that.
