Making a Better Baby Walker

Let's face it, many of these kids toys are not made to last. Somedays my second job is fixing broken toys or improving them. When the kids starting going mobile we picked up a common style walker to help them get moving. After a few laps around our house it was apparent that this walker had a problem...THE WHEELS!
They wrapped up all kinds fuzz, hair, and dirt bringing the fun to a standstill.
This video highlights how I modified the walker with upgraded wheels. Now this walker flies around the house effortlessly.

Thanos for sharing! I just designed and 3D printed adapters for my kids walker using 3” casters I wasn’t using anymore and the kid is cruising! 😂 I wanted him to be able to use it outside (large private drive way).

Nice video. For my first born we had an older walker with all 4 wheels swiveling. She loved that thing because she could zip around. I've been trying to find another one for my son but they just don't make them anymore. I've been trying to plan a solution so I can get swiveling wheels on all 4 corners. This may be it. I know it's a safety issue, but the stationary wheels make it difficult to navigate in small homes.

I'm glad you found it helpful. Our kids loved using the walker with these new wheels. It really zipped around and we never had any problems with it tipping.
