I’m 26 and I’ve recently bought myself gen 3 draculaura. (Mostly to repaint). But I love her body sculpt. I also would love to get the shadow high dolls. They’re so beautiful.

Im 34 and finally decided to buy dolls for myself this year when i saw the shadow high and gen 3 monster high dolls. I am in Canada so what's available is a little limited and more expensive. My 13 year old daughter loves barbies and has played with them since she was 4. We love them together. My younger 5 year old daughter likes barbies too. It's a newfound joy for me even tho I always loved dolls. The youtube collectors really inspired me.

Mad respect for collecting what makes you happy! Everyone likes something a little bit different. I prefer to just grab the dolls that speak to me the most. The basic Cleo, Draculaura, and Ghoulia all spoke to me, as well as Twyla, but I have more than just them because I'm a customizer. ^^'''' No joke, I went and got another Twyla yesterday just so I'd have one to customize. The G3 sculpts are beautiful and I really really want to play with her! But I'm so with you on Cleo, she's really gorgeous. She wasn't the doll I gravitated towards in other generations, but in this one, I'm smitten with her design.

I am the BIGGEST fan of Frankie. She has always been my favorite. Since we share the same name. And WAY back in the day, kids use to call me Frankenstein. So I embraced it, instead of letting it upset me. Just sad they didn't come out when I was young. One of these days I would really love to find the one where she is Blue and Yellow. It was the movie where she had the little electrical buddies. Thank you for letting us grown ups be little kids for a few moments. 😊❤

I mainly tend to go after my favorites when doll collecting but sometimes I just collect whatever's pretty & my main focus when collecting is dolls from the 90s or dolls that remind me of my childhood in the 90s.

I love Cleo but I absolutely love Lagoona Blue, and Draculaura. I would most likely be collecting Disney princess dolls mostly, the Barbie movie disco doll, I have a few Rainbow high dolls, and if I had to choose just one monster high doll to collect it would be Lagoona Blue if I love the design enough because I'm obsessed with mermaids or anything ocean inspired.

I am more of an action figure collector (I watch your videos mostly for the entertainment value, sometimes they give me great ideas for new projects). In this field, I limited myself to Star Wars and there to Boba Fett/selected Mandalorians and Clone Troopers. But these in all scales available - from tiny Lego figures up to a life-size Boba Fett. I am very happy with this arrangement, but still have to limit myself.

I just enjoy collecting dolls that I'm drawn to in general. That varies from group to group and I'm ok with that. In my miniverse all dolls of all brands are welcome to join the fun.

I LOVE the G3 Cleo look, but I'm a Draculara fan through and through. I'd get both of them for my collection tho. As for the Iradecent Skultimate secret. I saw those at my local target.

The monster high dolls work out to be 50$+up for us Canadians.. so, after i got the basic core dolls, my focus is mostly going to be on my two favorites- Draculaura and Cleo,- just getting the ones i can't live without.. I'd love to have them all, just for wardrobe options.. but $$$ OUCH.

Cleo is a great choice! She is gorgeous! I have to somewhat limit my collecting due to budget and space. So I just go for the lines and dolls I really love. For example, I'm skipping most of the skulltimate secrets but I plan to get all of Monster Ball. And I want at least one of each Monster High Character...cant wait to get Abby! And I recently decided to mostly stick with Barbie Extra and Barbie Looks lines for Barbie. Not to say I don't plan to get the $25 Barbie movie dolls. Rainbow High and Shadow high are harder though because they're pretty much all new characters.

I love this idea of just collecting one. Maybe I’ll just start collecting Frankies. My absolute fave is Ghoulia, but I’m not sure if they’ll release different versions of her. I love Cleo too though…

I certainly could not afford to collect them all but I really want at least 1 of every character I can find. In Cleo’s case tho I really want every Cleo doll just to mix and match her accessories, I love her shoes from Skulltimate secrets 2 and her bracelet from Monster ball

Cleo is my favorite too. She's so pretty especially her makeup. I have the normal version of her, two versions of Draculara and I only bought one Skultimate of Lagoona. I only collect the ones I find pretty. My husband only liked my Barbie collection. He finds that RH, MH, SH dolls and Bratz dolls are strange with larger heads. I don't care, I still find them pretty and cute. Growing up my parents couldn't afford to buy me more dolls so I bought them myself after I had my kids. 😊

I'm 59 years old. I got a huge pack of dolls at a t a thrift store for about $25. Inside was Cleo heels and all in there. I hugged the daylights out of her. It had several articulated dolls in there that were worth far more than what I paid, but Cleo made it feel like I was a child again getting the best birthday present ever

I collect mostly Barbies, but I do have a few Rainbow High Dolls, A couple of LOL OMGs, and two Monster Highs which I picked up at thrift store and garage sale. I am a photographer who loves to photograph toys and other small things. My main collection is of Breyer horses, which I've been collecting for about 60 years.

You could use that "Skultimate Secrets" packaging as a makeshift Closet/Wardrobe. Add a bar and some hangers to the casket part on the left and remove a few of the compartment doors to create some shelves and OILA!!! Instant closet........

Proud of you! I've stopped being a completionist as well...I do like all the ghouls but primarily I am a Cleo & Clawdeen Stan, this year I have added Draculaura (who I never really liked character or dolls) this generation I love her. Planning to open up my G3 collection soon and figure this out for myself. I will only get the ones I'm most passionate about from the different lines. At the moment Clawdeen is winning but Cleo's dolls will be gotten I missed a few Mattel Creations listings for her... Frankie is also really cute this series so I'm really being picky but so far that's my strategy... Nvm other Doll lines🤪🥴 Btw: Monster Ball Cleo is stunning! Tinsel and all🥰😂

I only get the ones I love. I was collecting orig series from launch, I often went for Draculaura, since she was a vampire we connect, and she was a main character & often had some of the best outfits. I have a lot of Frankie's also for that reason. I love the DeNile sisters too. I have a lot of the originals, and a large amount are purple, blue, & pink themed ones like Abbey & Spectra. The only G3 I have is Frankie skultimate secrets because I am being ultra picky, not a lot of space left. I wanted Draculaura skultimate secrets but she sold out literally the day before I decided to push the buy button & I'm not paying double price. But I'm glad to hear about the Fearidescent, those are more my style & I will like those even more and I may get all of them.

I collect them all but I get my favorite ones of the line first! At least with monster high!! Other lines I only get the one I like.

Almost everyone needs some limits on which dolls they collect, especially if they like more than one line. With G3 MH, I think Draculaura and Cleo are my favourites, and I only have 2 of Draculaura and one Cleo. I keep waiting for one of each that ticks all my boxes (including saran hair) and/or is significantly different. There is a chance I will get all of Monster Ball because I think several of them are the best versions so far, and it would be nice to have a full set from the same series.

My daughter used to love Draculaura and Frankie so I would get all of those for her. But I loved Ghoulia so I had to get all of her. 😂 I still have all of our old dolls. My mom had actually got us ALOT from yard sales too so we have alot of characters and alot of furniture that I otherwise would not have bought.

My boyfriend is a cleo collector too! I got him basic cleo for christmas and skulltimate cleo for his birthday. When monster ball comes out in my area, I'm going to get him that cleo too. As for myself, I just get whatever dolls catch my eye. So far I have basic drac, goreganizer drac, twyla, creepover clawdeen, and skulltimate lagoona. Im on the lookout for fearidescent frankie, monster ball clawdeen, and basic abbey

I should really only collect one doll myself too as a monster high doll collector. I try to only collect the dolls that speak to me, but that brings out the completionist in me. The problem is that my favorites fluctuate. I say Cleo is my favorite, but then again I catch myself loving Draculaura's fashion or at other ghouls in the same line. I try to keep myself limited though, since I love the skullimate secrets lines that are $30 a piece.. which is definitely a very costly hobby/ passion of mine lol

My husband is Egyptian and we lived in Egypt for several years. There is no such thing as "Falafel" in Egypt, it's Ta'ameya which is made with fava beans not chickpeas (fun fact chickpeas are hummus in Arabic, which is funny since you need hummus to make hummus).

It’s funny I’ve been watching these videos since a kid and in G1 I wasn’t a big fan of Cleo her dolls are pretty but she never stuck with me but G3 Cleo is so so stunning all of her dolls are a hit and I have two already haha

I must say the Cleo dolls are always amazing. I think however that it would have been pretty cool to make the Polaroid Cleo comes with smaller so it would fit Frankie's camera so we could pretend that they took it. Idk it just sounded to me like a fun idea

I much rather go for the accessories and clothes. if I have to choose with dolls, I probably go for the ones based on my favorite mythical fantasy creatures like werewolves, vampires, and sirens, or go for dolls that are a bit similar to me like Ghoulia the zombie. (is that her name?) but that's just my opinion.

I wanted to just get the base doll for each character and maybe a few others that really grab me, but it ended up where I've been focusing on Cleo and Draculaura. Draculaura is so cute and Cleo is just such a queen. The designs for these two have just been so, so good. Draculaura has a lot of dolls out now and they all match really well so it's been really fun to mix her outfit pieces.

I know how you feel! Back in the day, I used to get every single doll of a series. I couldn't NOT. But now, yes, I just get my favorites. I only have two Ever After High dolls, one of which I only got for MerMay, and I have maybe three Rainbow High dolls (one of which I use at Halloween because she reminds me of a ghost). So yeah, I totally get it lol
