Making a Button Box - Lathe Project

3 жыл бұрынI made a button box for my wife's Valentines Day gift (I know, it's August). It was turned on my lathe from reclaimed oak, which is miserable stuff to turn. Taking an idea from a viewer, the lid is shaped like a button.
If you notice some differences from scene to scene, I actually made a couple of these. This is a compilation of highlights.
