Ambitious project, please let us know how it all comes together. BTW, the broken key is a perfectly normal thing, small engines are designed with a soft metal key which shears when the engine slows down too quickly, the sheared key effectively kills the ignition hopefully preventing further damage. It's also a safety device so make sure you replace it with the appropriate type of soft metal key.

puedes intentar con este método que dará buenos resultados, tomando lo mejor de los dos mundos... El de el método de la fundición de la cera perdida "lost wax casting" y el método de la fundición de la espuma perdida "lost foam casting". un vídeo de ejemplo kzfaq.info/get/bejne/apNdmcxzrLOtoJc.html en lugar de la pieza de "polycast" es la pieza de espuma

Totally Wrong! You have to cast the complete Con-Rod and mill the Holes completely new - because so - the part is not fitting with the the other part.

Great video but i'd have to say that that's a lot of work for a connecting rod that still needs machining that you can buy new for $11.
