Hey Chris, you are on point about how many people that are so afraid of failure that they never even try? Every aspect of life is learned one way or another so expanding one's knowledge should be a life long adventure!!! You and Gaddzee are two hard working dude's , Cheers Mate

Great video Chris, prospecting is something I’ve always wanted to do but most of my life with almost anything I want to do I was being told nope no money in that, but I truely wonder where I’d be if I had just gone with my gut and done at least one of those things so now I’m almost over the hill I’m prospecting and while it definitely will not replace what I earn in my job I am having fun, getting fit and preparing for the day I can afford to retire and finally do some of the other things I’ve wanted to do, all of which could have made me a lot of money but am happy enough to use them to make retirement a little more comfortable, maybe or maybe I should just try retiring early a practice run and if the practice run works out I’ll just keep on keeping on doing what I love to do 😁 cheers 🍻

Hi Chris, I notice that you are lucky that everywhere you go the gravel bars are easy to dig up. In Western Washington where I dig , the gravel is filled with fist to head sized rocks that are packed hard and need to be pried up with pick or shovel using my boot to pry over.

Your statement about trying to do something hit home, and it actually involves you. I watched one of your videos when you were doing a clean up, and you pointed out the difficulty of removing the black sand, and how much trouble it gave you panning, and I had an idea pop up that I really think would work. I've gotten the equipment I needed, but have been sitting around not working on it. I am going to put the thing together, and test it as best I can, then I will contact you and let you know how it works. If it works the way I'm thinking it should work, I think you might be interested. You might stop cursing black sand even.😅

I recommend instead of putting your mat wedges under screws, add some fixed blocks to wedge under. It ill last a lot longer. I'm a toolmaker/fitter/machinist with around 20 years exp. across a lot of different fields from aerospace to electrical and would gladly consult with you for free. I'm somewhat medically retired now but love to share knowledge and tips and help design stuff. I've had a keen interest in gold mining since Gold Rush started on Discovery. I watch Bering Sea Gold as well. I often look at their equipment and see ways to improve it and believe I have a good understanding of how it all works. One of my dreams is to one day go up to Alaska and see what I can do. I have the knowledge, just not the health, or the money yet.

In Canada 🇨🇦, 2 things here both illegal, a ground sluice for 1, & 2: if the water you are releasing has a heavier silt load than the water 💧 it is being released into, big no no. However, the idea of classifying the paydirt beforehand could be really useful for the same reasons as given. At $2600/ounce not a bad day.

Dear Sir, I, like most people of my age, was born in the ‘80s, and therefore fondly remember the film “Flight of the Navigator”. This, not Broomknobs and Stickbeds, is the best Disney film of all times. Not only does it feature the first use of reflection mapping in cinema history, it also features a cute young Sarah Jessica Parker before she looked like a shoe. Yours etc., Rear Admiral Sir Archibald Q. Hincklebottom OBE (Mrs)
