Kevin, that first piece you played with Victoria filled me with memories. Here in the UK in the late 1950 and 1969’s there was a radio program called ‘Listen with Mother, where a story would be read for very young listers. Suddenly I was carried back to being a small boy sitting with my mother.

Thank you, Kevin for reminding me that I wasn’t wrong in lightly buttering my sandwich breads. My MIL used to tell me I was adding unnecessary calories for no reason. I was raised as a butterer and glad to be justified. Who couldn’t ever use a little butter anyway.

Hi Kevin. I find it interesting how much we have in common. We live in a 150 y.o. beautiful two story house in Upstate NY in the historic area of the town, our dining room has similar dark-red color wallpaper, and blue couch and arm chair, lots of paintings in the gold gilded frames. I have similar china tea set, the blue English. I am a piano teacher and a member of the Rochester Piano Club, have a grand piano Baldwin, 1970s and and a few more uprights. I love gardening and like to take fresh herbs from my garden, just now have similar garlic showing up in my garden bed. I love having tea when I invite my friends and play duets with some of them, I have a collection of nice teas. I like the antiques, used to work part time at the local antique shop and learned a lot about the antiques, and bought some antiques there. One day I want to invite our Piano Club over to my house, and host a reception. One more thing, I saw in one of your videos how you store a fire food on the porch and get it through the window for the parlor fireplace. We do exactly the same, we have a fireplace but it partly closed and we have a beautiful wood stove right next to it. You and I are about the same age, I also exercise, do yoga, Pilates almost every day, ride bicycle in summer and walk. I have holly bush right next to the main porch and this year it is full of red berries. Just amazing.

Just sat down from making Sunday dinner (stewed pork chops in onion, rosemary, garlic gravy, white rice, asparagus and Peach Cuppa Cuppa with homemade whipped cream). So nice to watch my favorite show after cleaning the kitchen. It’s snowing here as I sit in front of my fireplace. Thank you Kevin and family. My Sunday is complete!

Kevin, your “ high teas” always look fabulous. I can handle the eats but could you at some point do a tutorial of making the tea…amount of tea to volume of water…how to discard the tea leaves, etc. Any tips are welcome.

I do not have many extravagant words to express how much I love your videos. The delightful tea time preparations are so enjoyable, a special delight from most mundane events that we are bombarded with on a daily basis. I love the outdoors, the tea times, the delightful and pleasant mature company along with some piano playing are all things I cherish. My mother put me in piano lessons when I was very young and my father gifted me a Vintage piano to learn on. I cherished it very much after losing him to a plane crash (for which he was the pilot) on his very own plane around the age of 7 or 8 years old. To this very day, I love hearing others playing the piano and I love the idea of using Macha Tea to flavor the scones. I also love the way you pronounce the "scones". Hope you have a super happy rest of your week.
