@@ATraceofSparkle Just an idea. If you've truly lost interest in finishing this journal, maybe use the cover as a giveaway? As you can see by the comments, there are many of us who absolutely love it and would probably really enjoy completing it. :) It would be a shame to let such a beautiful cover go unfinished.

Love your journal. Want to share a technique with you. When layering fabric, I like to use quilters basting spray. If I don't have any on hand, I use hairspray (much cheaper, doesn't cause breathing problems, and easier to clean up the overspray). Just spray one fabric, layer on the other and briefly iron to dry.

I make mine because I l8ve the process so many things to do in 1 project. And when my journal is done i Will use it like a memorybook, i have pics of my kids and I write what we do and so on. Or im scrapbooking in it and write about my thoughts or how im feeling. There is so many things u can do. I dont like mine to bee stuffed with ephmera, like some do. But i l8ve to se their style too. I have little less with stuff, like "the Queen of junk journals" johanna glouch ( spelling?) On KZfaq. Thats moore my style 😊🙏🧡

@@barbroheller2193 use hair spray in place of basting spray. Lay your backing fabric down wrong side up, spray lightly with hair spray (I use Aqua Net hair spray), then lay batting on top. Spray batting again, layer other fabric right side up on top of batting.
