In this video I would like to show you how I'm making high quality and fully stitched by hand leather belt. As you can see I made this belt 100% by hand from high quality vegetable leather. I also made personalization on the end of this belt.
Total thickness of this belt is approx. 4,5 mm / 11oz.

It’s wonderful to see that “Craftsmanship” it still alive and well. When I was young, I remember watching real craftsmen apply their trade. It was a remarkable thing to watch. I have one question for you, from leatherworker to leatherworker. How can anyone possibly price all that work in order to make sense? I mean this belt is easily one full day's work right there, maybe more depending how fast you stitch.

How to you manage such long thread on your saddle stitch? I keep getting mine tangled up because it pools in a pile on either side of the leather.

That's right. I have no good answer for your question. Sewing is very difficult and flustering but possible.

Hi, I was wondering what do you recommend for daily use/work the hand-stiched one(38 mm) or the heavy duty one? Especially regarding the durability.

Hi Jan. Hand stitched belts are very, very strong and looks really nice but there are also very expensive, You can be 100% sure that heavy duty belt is also very strong. In my opinion heavy duty leather belt from our store is better for daily use.
