I made a leather SD card wallet a couple years ago, and i've been wanting to come back to it with with a few tweaks. Although I had a bit of a slip up on this one, the design turned out really nice and i'm excited to get these into production.

Thank you so much for sharing that with us. I made this mistake many times and learned how to fix that! But always, a new error pops up.

Thank you for showing that even professionals make little mistakes in their work. It is comforting to me to know that I am not the only one who does this kind of thing. It is a beautiful design, and I think no less of you or your awesome work.

love your work and you are my absolute favorite leather crafting channel to watch. You're attention to detail and your craftsmanship has been an inspiration to me. My fiance' and I are in the process of growing a business that started as steampunk decor and wood turning. Tonya brought up leather craft and at first I thought it would be too much and too tedious for me. however, once I found your videos, you quickly changed my mind. i wont say its easy because it does take a lot of skill to make it look impressive as you do but you did make it look easy enough that i have decided to take it up and start learning the craft. I think it will be an awesome addition to what we do already. Also, thanks for your videos on growing a business and how to get started on social media and a website. Thanks for your inspiration and i appreciate your time and help. Kent

I have a similar sewing machine as you and I also had similar mistakes when sewing. To prevent this, I have built a flat bed of wood for my machine which can easily be clamped on and taken off. Then the stitches are sure to be straight.

Looks great! Large lower feed dogs don't always play nicely with thin/flexible materials. I'm curious - do you still use your Pfaff? All I have now is a Cobra Class 4 - wish I still had my old Consew 206RB, but always drooled every time I saw that shiny Pfaff in your vids.

Your videos are very fun to watch and educative especially for beginners like me, I really have learnt a lot watching your videos. Keep up the good work. I do have a request though if it will be no bother, could you make a video on how you turn your ideas to sketch and then turning them to patterns with accurate measurements, like how on earth do you do it?🤧🤧

Parker, it is a nice looking item and I have considered making them before yet I didn't and the following is why. Anyone that is going to carry six SD cards would feel their data is very important, so it is not just a matter of storage; yet storage that is both shock and waterproof. Have I missed something?

Hey Parker, I love watching your videos and I watch them very closely. I have seen you have difficulty going over straps and such on your Techsew machine. Upon closer examination, I can see that your machine is a little out of adjustment and is causing the problem. That machine should have plenty of foot lift to go over anything you sew. There is an adjustment that balances out the amount of lift between the inner foot and the outer foot. All the lift is on the outer foot and the inner foot barely rises at all. When sewing something like a strap onto another piece, this causes the inner foot to push the strap out of position instead of stitching over it. You can also increase or decrease the overall amount of foot lift. Call Ron at Techsew and have him help you get those feet lifting evenly. It will make your sewing much easier and show the true capability of that machine. Keep on doing your great work!

Why did that leather shift from the edge.?? Is that water-based glue no good or was it not dry when you started to see it.?? Looks great though and I bet that design will sell good with 6 spots plus more storage.

Chris Lee - UK not true. Just start small and work your way up. Your skills will improve a lot quicker than you would think. I started making small single pocket wallets about a month ago and I’ve worked my way up to making a messenger bag now. The only difference between a small scale project and a large one is the amount of stitches you have to make. The only thing that determines how polished a product looks is the amount of time taken on it

One word: Barge.
@AdamsLeatherWorks
@AdamsLeatherWorks 4 жыл бұрын
Overpriced. DAP Weldwood Original is roughly 1/4 the price and works just as well. Barge can be hard to find locally in larger quantities, but you can buy the DAP cement at Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. and save the shipping cost. Having said that, I'm seriously considering the Aquilim cement to help reduce some of the toxic fume exposure. The price is comparable to Barge, without the health hazards.
