I just bought a Berkey Crown and want a simple tall stand for it. There's a perfect nook against a wall next to a small hutch. This table design you present here is fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!!!

@Da Royal General It's a very simple table that's actually doing very well. I was thinking of adding some supports at the bottom to make a little more stable. What time it's a little shaky on top, but we keep it up against the wall most of the time so it seems to be doing well without anything extra.

I love DIY as I am always working in something.. Although along the way I make mistakes.. practice makes perfect. I have invested in circular saw. Work bench Have lots of other tools. All the essentials. This morning I tried making a small table.jusy practising. Haha... used spade drill bits.. to drive the screws right in.. Well can't say I never tried..I loved your video. And learnt more. Thanks for this. I think I will try this way.. pine is better to work with.

When you attach the table top to the apron, how do you line them up with apron under the table top? And do you pre-drill the holes in the apron?

Thanks for the video and sharing simple little build. I am looking for a table saw curious what you have? Looking to spend $800 or less. Also I like the clamps you used where did you get those? Amazon?
@natelarge
@natelarge 4 жыл бұрын
I used a budget Kobalt table saw. I have a review video on it but I would suggest a better saw depending on needs and budget. I bought the clamps at home Depot and Lowe's.

Hi dear; could I know the name of the top slide cerulean saw; or a link where can I buy it??
@natelarge

It is called a radial arm saw. Generally speaking they are not considered a safe, as a result manufactures no longer make them. The modern compound miter saw is safer and fulfills most of the same functions. If your heart is set on the radial arm style then you should look for one second hand.

Why on earth did you need to screw holes in the top? But i do get it was affordable ....and outside.... patio covered? Pine will last 6 mths if its not treated.
@natelarge
@natelarge 4 жыл бұрын
Simple screws though the top keep it affordable and highly accessable for intro woodworking. Yes if untreated it will not last long.

Radial arm saw but they are not that safe so companies now make the miter saw and compound miter saw.
