The man has easily $60k in equipment plus the necessary materials. We usually buy these things in a store because we don't have a high end equipped lab to make it ourselves.

@@Tiagotaf You can build this with a couple hundred dollars worth of tools. Most expensive is the welder but you can rent one. The bandsaw can be replaced with an angle grinder and a spot welder can be made with a car battery. 3d printer is not needed for this build.

This project came out really well, can't wait to see how it looks post adding lights. I love how the end product came out, would love to own and use it on a daily basis.

Great job. The wide tires make your scooter very unique. I made a sit down scooter using trailer tires, and a trailer wheel hub for steering. I used lead acid batteries, but you inspired me to use lithium instead. Keep your videos coming, we love them!!!

As much as I’m not into any EV or whatever even I would happy having this gem. The thing is a brilliant design and the workmanship is dam right impressive and unlike a lot of products made today this thing will last. Great job 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

this thing is super solid. You even took the time and effort to completely weld that steel platform thats crazy. great job man I only wish I had the skill, money and time!

@@Blox117 That would have made the project quite a bit more complex(and costly, time-consuming) plus the fat tires offer a bit of bounce as it is.

@@stephenloflin4772 suspension helps keep the wheels touching the ground. no suspension at 30+mph is very unsafe.

Jon, Please don't wish.... I am a tool maker by trade and I think everyone I know in this trade was in your shoes at one time. It is just an art that you practice. Just don't 'not do it' if it is what you want to try. KZfaq will give you an amazing education . We all started from the same point. Have fun!!

The build looks absolutely brilliant! A dual motor go kart, or reverse (dual motor) trike, would be an awesome 2.0 project. Keep doing what you do!

Such a sweet build! I had the same controller and lcd screen when I built my e-bike and I absolutely hated the built-in cruise control!! Glad it could be turned off

That thing turned out really nice. You're a very talented craftsman. Nice welding, good design. It's a shame you don't have a powder coating setup. It would have made the finish on the frame really pop. (maybe that'll be a future project)

That is awesome! V nice build! Only thing I can see is that charger port cap will need changing 100% bud especially if you're off roading on this thing which by the way even being possible makes it 10x better 😂

a possible suggestion regarding the disc brake mount. In the past I have has success from waiting until the rear disc is mounted on the wheel and bolted in place. then positioning the caliper and locking it down gave me a nice reference point to weld from. great work eitherway!!
