You saved me from putting the scion wheels on same as the Subaru, I got lucky for 2 months I was looking for Prius 5 wheels and someone just posted a set of the charcoal chrome polished ones for only $230 I paid him $180! That was very smart and helpful telling people about the spacer

You have the tire on backwards - those are directional tires and the one you showed should go on the other side. Hopefully they mounted 2 in each direction at the tire shop :-D

Looks GREAT!! Never thought of Suburu rims.. I own a 4th gen, HAVE 17's but want sportier ones. Just because it's a Prius doesnt mean we can't make our's all unique! Nicely done! One guy commented that they may be directional... It'll have an arrow on the side wall if they ARE.. It DID look like the sidewall tread was pointed the wrong way.

An even cheaper option would be scion tc wheels. i got a set of tc wheels that had just been powder coated and had new tires for just $300 they look really good and more modern, and don’t require spacers or anything

I put the same wheels on my 08 prius I also used hubcentric rings along with spacers because the prius hub is 54.1mm and the suburu wheels are 56.1mm.

For less than $500: remove wheel cover, add preferred wheel paint. I never knew those black alloys were the stock wheels hiding under wheel covers. Those covers are there to reduce drag, though......no?

Why the hell does everyone out there want to put big ass rims on small vehicles? I can never figure that out. You can't have any sidewall on your tires when you do that which means you get to feel every bump in the road that much more and to top it off they are much more fragile since there is no sidewall to absorb sudden impacts. Also changing anything that requires lifting a vehicle or adding spacers is just wrecking the rest of the vehicle because it wasn't designed for that.

I popped off those hubcaps after one fell off now I have the black rims. Which I don't mind but how to I make them shiny? And maybe put something in the middle part???

My idea of cool is lift kit for off semi roading and hitch so you can and carrier for dirt bike..

Everyone has black wheels now-a-days. Not sure why folks want to spend money on new wheels then pick a color that makes them so subdued you cant really see them unless up close.

doesn't make it cool for less than $500, what a waste of money.. It's a Prius, spend thousands and it will not make it any cooler.. save your money on maintaining the EGR valve and impending HV battery which needs replacement at 150k miles or 10 years.

My stock gen 2 prius looks cooler in black and all i did to it was buy a 5euro small antenna and give it a wash. Face it, gen 3 looks like a sick fish and no matter what you d to it it will always look like a sick fish.

I love my 2012 prius here in the netherlands. Great car. And also great for this country with expensive gas prices. But if i lived in the states? Why would i drive a prius? Gas is so cheap in the states. In euro’s and liters .: €1,80 for one liter in the netherlands. €0’80cents in america for one liter. So why drive a eco car there?
