I am watching this vid and somehow the background music is the piano duet I am practicing for my competition. Great work btw

actually I am wondering if you could do a 3d printed version of it, if of course you have a 3d printer

Kris, if you are going to use off-the-shelf esc's, youre probably have trouble with the suddle stage of the balancing.. But i guess you have something else in mind :) great milling and design!

***** Thanks! Yes, I'm aware. I'm studying the SimonK source code right now, to see if i can modify it or write my own code to flash the escs for my needs. So I have more controle and can drive them from a central microcontroller with something different than PWM. Also, I'm not sure how far I'm gonna get with the balancing part. if it moves around brute force I will be happy for now :)

Very good but the control must be by using remote control And Very good shooting

Hey Kris. What software do you use for the 3d modeling? Something commercial or easy to obtain?

Hey Kris, Good Job! I'm working on a very similar project. Only I don't want to remote control the cube, just have it pop-up and balance on a corner. I have a working 1D version kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gauUpZRqqZy2n40.html . As of now I'm designing the cube. One thing I noticed about your design is that you don't have an opposing brake caliper on the other side of the wheel. I assume when you engage the brake you will have a quite a bit of deflection? Anyway, looks like you have all the components necessary to make it balance. Don't know what your background is, but I have some working code to balance it in 1D if you'd like.

Peter Nikiforov Hi Peter, thanks. Looks very cool!! I don't really have a background in this kind of stuff. I'm learning as I go. I'm first gonna try it myself but when I'm getting stuck, I might take you on that offer :) Yes, there is some deflection. but I'm hoping it will be manageable, if not, there is still room to add a back part on the break.
