That's why this shredder should be on top of a very sturdy bin. In addition to impeding the function of the door, it might also shred a check for large quantities of money.

@@nimmen maybe you haven't see the part of the video in wich the turbo fails. Poor enginereed engine, look on KZfaq for good ones. And this... A machine that works with hard torque and forces, WITHOUT bearings, steel shafts rotating in bare aluminum. So durable.

just make sure you wire in an emergency shutoff that is easily reachable and that shouldn't be an issue, but still, better to take off the tie before being near anything bigger than a paper shredder.

You could take a rod and make the shape in a milling machine by hand, then slice it up in a sawing machine or lathe. Wouldn't even need cnc equipment.

Mr_FJ Some people, including me, prefer getting bills sent by paper. Easyer to keep track of them and keep an archive when you physically seperate the important stuff from the spam. Also I think its nice to be able to write: "paid (date)" with a pen on the bill than having to scratch my head wondering if its paid or not. Even paychecks i always ask to get on paper by mail so i can staple them with my contract (when its ran out) and work hour sheet. Much easyer to spot a mistake that way. Also its much easyer to keep track of your earnings. Dont know, maybe emails work better for you but i personally would never go "paperless".

noonenaught actually no not really lol. you can recover data from a really really badly damaged hard drive as long as you can fix the disc. un-denting a hard drive isn’t impossible. putting back together a shredded hdd is nearly impossible tho

That is exactly what I need, I start all my shop fires all winter, with the year's junk mail, it'd be easier to store all summer, shredded. Got to see the next video, got a couple of ten horse gas engines, can run at the shop. Wish I had that cnc plasma, mine is me nc, not so steady a hand, these days. Thanks, got to see the next!!
