This morning I posted an old photo to my personal facebook account which showed a men's alligator bracelet. Lots of folks had questions about it because it actually has a metal bracelet inside of it so it maintains it's shape. So, here it is- how to make a bracelet with a metal core.

You are a gem of a guy. You're so humble and a great teacher. I'm new to the art of leathercraft, but so glad I found your channel. I'm making my way through your vids and find them enjoyable and informative. Best wishes from Ireland 😁

Thank you thank you thank you for this video. I had seen some pics of finished cuffs in another group and had gotten blanks. Your concise video saved me from trying to figure it out for myself!

Great video! If you know someone who crochets, a 4mm crochet hook works great for going around and getting the seam ready to punch. I used my bone and then finished with the crochet hook!

I don't have your experience level - instead of Novice + 20 years, it's more like Novice + 20 minutes. But I appreciate this video immensely. You gave my favorite kinds of walkthrough. You not only explain every step of what you're doing, but also the *why* of some variations from what others might choose to do. Keep at it! It's been a while since you posted this, so I hope that whole mess with your social media accounts has been remedied.

Get yourself a couple of those puff paint bottles with three needle points from hobby lobby. Use that as your applicator for the tokonole. You'll save yourself from making a mess, or spreading onto the face of the largest, and you'll end up using a lot less product.

I sand my edges to 1200 grit on a lot of my products. When finished sanding, they're just about burnished. But then add the tokonole and the finished edge is smoother than smooth, shines like a mirror.

Worth noting is that some metal “bone” folders can stain the leather. A plastic or Teflon is less likely…I have found.

Aaron, are you saying you didn't have a full backup of your phots and your contacts or, that it's taking you a long time to restore what you have backed up? Being a business I can't imagine you don't have your system doing a constant, daily backup. If that was the case have you gotten your IT guy to set up "OneDrive" or something similar plus a quick swap portable drive that can be quickly unplugged and a new, empty drive plugged in to replace the full drive. That way you have everything on a cloud location as well as a pair of quick swap drives in your desk drawer that you can keep overwriting "just in case" something happens to the "OneDrive" system which is very unlikely. I keep both systems going so there is nothing that can go too far wrong and the cost is so cheap for a small business there is no other option.

What thickness of leather did you use? I used 2-3 oz (veg tan) and it seems much thicker than yours. Also thank you for the sewing lessons in one of your other videos. Really helped a lot. Thanks.

I wouldn't use 2 blanks. However they make bangle cuffs in all kinds of sizes, flatten one out and cover it.
