On the contrary. This is a very simple toy to make. Please remember that the tools that I demonstrate during the show are just a suggestion. With woodworking, for every method, there are several ways to accomplish the same result. The bandsaw, which is one of the main tools used in this project, is easily replace with a hand held coping saw. Don't discount a project because you don't have the specific equipment used in the tutorial. Instead, try to find ways to use what you have in order to make a project work. A little ingenuity can go a long way and as long as you are being safe about it, there is no wrong method. I hope this helps and I hope that you will try this project.
