omg i can FEEL the tension through the screen even before you start to work on the rock. Which is completely understandable. i know NOTHING about rocks, but that clean smooth black side is a thing of beauty. You can tell rocks don't come in that pristine of form often.

That is perhaps the best flake I've ever seen. Will, you will always be the master. Why not wear gloves? Because gloves won't stop a pice of obcidian. And if you get a flake stuck in you wearing a glove, it acts as a barrier between the stone and your hand. Makes removing it that much more difficult. Yes this had happened to me. It sucked.... 3 stitches I did myself.

Your “cut off relationship” it struck home, both for you and any reader, as a person who made car body parts out of sheet steel and hammers if you can’t feel the shape progress it ends up bad and not a part of you or the car just a bad piece of sheet steel/ flint. Thanks for your work and detailed commentary keep it up

Your a very interesting man. And make the most beautiful things….. Inspiring, informative, and talented, your knowledge is great, and knows no bounds….. You talk about your journey, which is fascinating. And, It’s a journey, I somewhat fancy myself. I am Now neatly 60 years of age ! And find the stone age craftsmanship astonishing. I have made many items, hand crafted with basic tools and mostly, with purpose. Either to learn another craft or to enhance another one. I want to learn more, as I feel closer to that past than this present….. All the very best on your journey my brother, may the light shine down on you & your many adventures ….. May your wisdom blossom, and your knowledge grow… leading you to a greater elevation and understanding of ‘our’ better past….. ¥ In other words, May The Force Be With You. Safe journeys. May we meet one day on the path to enlightenment… 6:21
