EN: Making a handcrafted pipe in the same style as the " The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" movie trilogies, similar to the Hobbits and Gandalf pipes.
PT/BR: Fazendo um cachimbo artesanal no mesmo estilo das trilogias de filmes "O Senhor dos Anéis" e "O Hobbit", semelhante aos cachimbos dos Hobbits e do Gandalf.

Love the pipe! but try to use a wooden tenon to connect the bowl to the stem or make the hole in the bowl bigger so you can fit the stem into it, then hammer it so it would be tightly snug. The glue will eventually melt due to the heat of the bowl when smoking.

Nice display piece should consider building a clear case to show it off but should consider joining the pieces with less glue and use hollowed dowel rods instead of just straight glue also use wood glue but at a minimum

Pretty good. But one thing i would try and experiment abit is the bowl and the stem joint. Could sink the stem inside. Could be better than using glue. But love the art of it ^_^

I really enjoy videos showing the crafting of interesting items. It was fascinating watching your work with a hand-held sander to round out the block pieces. The finished pipe was beautiful and it was a very satisfying conclusion to the video to see the pipe tested.

With some research and anyone can correct me but it seems animal hide glue might be the least toxic solution?

schön gebaut die pfeife aber unpraktisch bei der reinigung. gibt es überhaupt so lange pfeifenreiniger ? mit zigaretten tabak ist pfeife rauchen echt wiederlich ;) danke für das video

Wow, that polished up very nicely. Most of the build looked pretty rustic, but it all came together. I had to laugh that we have a very similar limited workbench and set of tools. :-D

Hello! It's not a metal, it's paper with a shiny metallic coating. Unfortunately I don't have the tools to put on a real metal ring :( I only used a colorless varnish :D

Using this amount a glue on this pipe, spraying lacquer as a finish, and finally packing it with cigarette tobacco. It is a nice looking pipe anyways

I fully agree with the rest. Good craftsmanship, but poor use of CA glue to piece it together. Since you obviously have a good handle on shaping the wood, it should be no big deal for you to craft the bowl so that the stem press fits into the bowl without CA glue. Ive been thinking of doing the same thing, but am still figuring out if the use of glue on the stem will be a problem, since in theory this part will remain much cooler than the bowl. Despite this. Great work.
