"A, always. B, be. C, clamping. Always be clamping! ALWAYS BE CLAMPING!" Great video for a great looking project. Quick question: do you glue the tile in somehow, or does it just sit? Also, I want to have whiskey with Grampa Picciuto.

@Toyotajunkie 2 жыл бұрын
I am pretty sure you leave the tile loose. It makes it easier to clean the tile, or replace. And in the case that you might NOT have a $1 tile (something very special, heirloom, etc) maybe the wooden portion will need replaced before... Hope that helps

Made several 40+ years ago and they are still going strong. Used the router for a dado for the tile and also to profile the edge. This is a great starter project as they can be made with a minimum of tools.

Your shop is starting to look pretty awesome compared to a few years ago. The led/neon signs look good, you got some nice colors going on, some fun touches and patterns on the work benches and that other wall. I also like the carpet . So much warmer and better on the knees.

Oh damn!!!! I GOT AN IDEA, that item, if you size it up more you can make a raised topper for a table top game, like pathfinder, d&d and more, for the DMs that like to put scater terrain down in stead of maps, what a useful item, even more if you take it to a place you haven't seen it before

Oh David, you right about so many things, but dead wrong about one of them. When the router chews up your fingers there's no delay in knowing it happened. For one, your fingers make a completely different noise going through the bit than wood does.

I too used to really be intimidated by the router. Now however I love my routers. Starting with a router table I began to use and appreciate what they can do. Now I have added 4 of them to my tool inventory. The tool that scares me most is my table saw.
