Watch me make a lazy Susan for acrylic pour painting. This is my first time talking in a video, I’ll get better! It was so much fun to make. I’ve been seeing other artists using these lazy Susan’s to make the most beautiful paintings so I thought I’d make my own and try out a beautiful new style of art. There were some challenges and I don’t have all the right tools but I made it work! Hope you like this video!

Hello Lauren, new Sub here, great job on putting that together !! I have been pouring for a few years now but only as a hobby, no KZfaq channel or anything like that, I just create for myself or friends/family & some commission work. Your channel popped up in my KZfaq feed so I thought I'd check it out & glad I did !! I have a couple of different Lazy Susans & of course bought a really nice one thinking it was perfect since I usually do not do any techniques that I want to spin on larger canvases but now I'm really wanting to get into doing larger pieces & have seen a couple of artists using these with the extenders & it's a great idea !! I was just sitting here watching a few of your videos that you used your spinner in & was just going to ask you how it was done & then came across this video lol !! So, I just wanted to Thank You for making this video, now I can finally start to work on my larger canvases that I want to spin out !!! I haven't seen any other Artist create a video on how to do this so yours is definitely super helpful !!! Looking forward to seeing more of your work, loving it all so far & I like showing support for Artists who do Great work but tend to get lost by KZfaq's algorithms pushing the Channels with huge #'s of Subs. If you're not familiar with Tracie Reed of Acrylic Pouring with Friends, she is a fellow artist/friend who has a smaller Channel but has a HUGE following on her Facebook group by the same name where any Artist can share their creations & videos & it's a great way to help get your name/ Channel out there & with Spinning being so popular I bet this video alone would get a lot of attention. Just a thought 😊😊. Sorry for such a long comment, but thanks again for creating & sharing this very helpful video & all of your work !! 😊😊😊

Thank you for your lovely comment! I really appreciate it and I’m happy the video was helpful. I was so nervous in that video to talk for the first time on KZfaq 😅 I actually just recently joined Tracie Reed’s group but haven’t posted anything spinner related yet, thank you for the suggestion 🤗🥰

@@LaurenMichelleArt I would have been nervous also, I'm not much of a "crowd speaker" lol. But you did great !! I have another Artist/friend who has a Channel & very very rarely ever speaks in her videos so you are definitely not alone !! 🤗🤗

It would be a lot easier just to purchase one they don't cost a fortune these days, may even have been cheaper in the long run too.

Great job! You have inspired me and I am going to make one. What size hardware was it?6” or bigger can’t tell from the video. Your Amazon shop does not list it. Also, it would be helpful to know the dimensions of the round and square wood. You had 3 long pieces of wood in a T, did you glue the together? Thank you for sharing!
@LaurenMichelleArt
@LaurenMichelleArt 3 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes 6” for the hardware and I got mine from Home Depot. I’m sure any hardware store would have them! The round is 12” diameter and the square is 11x11”. And yes I glued the 3 pieces together, I put some wood glue on that fourth piece too before screwing it on so it all stayed in place. Hope this is helpful 🤗
