I' ll show you how to make a prop bait like the Whopper Plopper. The tail of this lure made of an aluminum plate that attracts fish by flashing. And the sound and shaking generated by the tail's rotation is a special movement that cannot be reproduced by any other lure.

Cypress wood sheet: 5 mm.
Balsa wood sheet: 8 mm.
Lure screw eyes.
Sinker: 3.2, 5.2, and 1 gram.
Stainless wire: 1.2 mm.
- MATERIAL (TAIL)-
Cypress wood block: 18 mm.
Aluminum pipe: 4 mm.
Aluminum plate: 0.5mm.
Small beads: about 6mm.

I've had other BPM baits kzfaq.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!

Thanks for the question. I am using the same wire for this lure as for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. I buy this wire by finding a fishing tackle store that sells homemade lures and lure custom parts.

What is the reference of the object that you use to hold the lure during painting please

Thank you for the question. The tool I use to hold the lure is called a "helping hands tool" or "Third Hand Tools" for soldering. You can probably find a variety of them on Amazon-com and other sites. The price varies depending on the number of clips and the material of the arm, but I think it's around $10 US to $20 US.

Thanks for your message. The name of the very soft wood used for this lure is "balsa wood". It is so lightweight and soft wood that it is used for model airplanes and so on, so you can easily cut it.

Thanks for the question. This bait is made of cypress and balsa wood. I chose cypress wood for the center where the lure screw eyes are attached, and high buoyancy balsa wood for the outside.

Тоже интересно. Там у него ссылка на страницу с точными размерами. Дальше просто. Видимо проволоку через звостик пропускает и он на этой оси и вращается. Думаю просверлив отверстие желательно трубку вклеить ,дабы бальса не повреждалась и воду не набирала.
