These guys are the absolutely the best......Using their feet as a vise, using one round wood lathe chisel for everything even all the straight cuts, using their eye as a micrometer, using old basic tools..........Americans aren't smart enough and are too lazy to do anything this labor intensive. That's why they will always survive because they're tough.

Rising mechanism is posing a great threat to this old art where craftsman as well as end users are shrinking day by day. But here both, craftsmanship and presenter of this video are appreciable for one is maintaining this dying art and other has videoed this with patience.

It looks so easy but how difficult it is to make a wheel like this even! Great precision. It is amazing to know that the designing and engineering was mastered in BC era thousands of years ago. Unimaginable!👌👏🙏

So, these guys, used modern tools to make a wheel for a wooden hand cart. Then they welded the steel rim with an arc welder. To top it off, they installed a rubber 'tire' in the wheel complete with tread. Nice Work, its Excellent, if you know what I mean.

Great videographic record of ancient skills; had me sitting on the edge of my seat the whole way through the _"story without words"._ Lighting, camera-work and editing are top quality, and because your subjects trusted you enough to get really close to their work-space, (which is a little hazardous if you don't know which way the process is going when they move quickly).

It maybe ancient to some of us but it’s most likely not ancient to these people!? There are those that keep us all in the darkness of the real advances in the technology that is available! There are those few people who think they rule the world! To keep their power over us they have to keep us dumbed down and make us slaves to enrich themselves! We have not needed the gasoline engines for well over one hundred years now ! They make us buy the Energy to power our homes with when if we had the technology we could all power them for free.

This has nothing to do with repair and reparation, this is production for a rural economy based on ‘what is on hand’. The fire to expand the steelband is dried cow manur. This country is in it’s rural environment a living museum. No one has told this to the actors yet!
