What a great idea. I just moved back to my home town after being gone for 30 years. This has inspired me to do a similar project once things return back to normal. Will shoot all on 4x5 B&W. Ordered! This is a great and inspiring idea, Matt! Thanks for the great content as always and thanks for keeping on going in these tough times. It's bringing a small sense of normality to these weird days. I bought an M6 just before lockdown here in the UK and haven't been able to get out and shoot due to my work being classed as key work and my working days being very long at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to carve out a couple of hours some time soon though. Keep on going, Matt and stay safe.

The idea is pretty awesome. We're living in history and I think as long as we photograph anything (indoor or outdoor) it will benefit us. We just need to do it safely. Ordered my copy btw.

Love it! I started exactly the same challenge myself, around 2 weeks ago. Not so much with the intention on selling though, as I don't really have much of a following whom would buy it, so more for myself and my family to look back on in years to come. Placed my order and can't wait to see it!

Nice work! I would love a video on how you pair images for zines and books with examples from the zines you’ve created. You mentioned your pairings were obvious but I sure would love to get into your head a bit on why you pair the images that you placed together. Or singly.

Pretty cool Matt! I like to use the book module in Lightroom and then have them printed through Blurb. Have made a few books for local fire departments and started working on one for our local Chamber of Commerce.(That has been put on hold til this Corona situation is over). I also made one a few years ago when lightning caused a wildfire that took a few days for fire crews to put out. (Love making books(photo). Hope you and your family continue to stay safe and healthy. Hi Matt! I just received a copy of your zine here in Belgium ! I love it, a good add to my book collection. I love the quality of Magcloud, its pretty decent. Btw, could you make a short video tutorial on how you proceeded to make the pdf file with InDesign to upload to magcloud? Are there any special tips to know to make the pdf?

Hello matt.... Its the same here in the UK... From Tyne and Wear... Anyway I've just watch ur video.... And this is all Ive been doing shooting black and white film and developing using Cinistill Df96... I've scanned my negs place them on my pc and up on fb but I feel inspired to make a photo zine from these negatives.... Do you think ii should do this....
