Making an Entire Song with Free A.I. Tools (No Human Input)

Hi friends! This video is definitely something different from the covers or instrumentals that I usually upload on my channel but I thought it was about time that I tried something new. I've always been interested in A.I. tools in music and just how much of the music making process they are able to accomplish without the help of humans? I tried to test out the limits of A.I. in this video and use free A.I. tools to compose, produce, sing, and master an entire song without any human input. Needless to say, the results were definitely a train wreck but here is the process that I went through.
I think some of these tools are definitely helpful to new producers/songwriters as a starting point to then build on but is definitely not something which can replace human input any time soon. Regardless, I hope this video is enjoyable for you!

This is fabulous. You certainly show both the possibilities and limitations of AI in music production. But I think in a short time this will exponentially improve. Onion Love will live in our hearts!

@@iamai-neuro That is quite naive. THIS right here wasn't possible 10 years ago. And I don't think you quite understand how exponential the growth with AI can be. In 10 more years musical AI will be SUBSTANTIALLY more competent than it is now. You're effectively comparing a toddler that just learned to walk to a human being with decades of knowledge. And this toddler has a bit of a longer startup time to acquire a new skill...but once it acquires it, it will develop at a super rapid pace

Sure Lamai is sonehow right - Mozartˋs Music was/is made of deep human emotions transformed into a mathematical code called music notes through which we can shre his Music unto this very day - A.I. is not able to create emotional feelings like humans do and cannot interprete them - it can copy and compare information, but it does not know, what itˋs doing - so it will support people to find ideas and that is a good thing too - itˋs just a Tool and nothing else.

Dude thanks for this effort! You end the video with the message that ai can't replace humans in making music but your video using tools that are at the very start of ai music shows is what it can do now. Interesting experiment! If some of the vocal notes get lengthened it could actually sound quite coherent. By the way I think we humans also create based on what we have seen and heard before. From the moment we’re born we are learning and synthesizing. So it’s difficult to argue that anything is truly original. If we lived in pitch-black solitary confinement from birth (like regular non-AI computers) I doubt we would we be able to create anything considered original or novel. These neural net AI systems even mimic the way in which our brains synthesize “new” creations. And this current generation of AI systems is pretty basic, but they have come a long way in the last few years, like with release of GPT-3 last year. If the rate of progress keeps going then I believe in 5 years these systems will produce art and music that can rival that made by many humans.
