Making an UNKILLABLE C'Thun WITH Taunt!

The goal of this Wild Hearthstone Caverns of Time C'Thun Druid OTK combo deck is to use Plaguemaw the Rotting combined with C'Thun! We do this by playing Twilight Geomancer to give our C'Thun Taunt. Then, we play Plaguemaw and C'Thun to make an unkillable Taunt! We can also use Elise and Freya to get infinite copies of Plaguemaw and C'Thun in the event the opponent has a board clear! Super fun meme deck! Good luck!

Hey mark I've been watching your videos for quite awhile and you inspire pretty much every deck I make with what I have. I've loved most all of your combos and synergies and I believe we share a similar play style in this game. I just wanna showcase a priest deck I created for standard it's rather powerful. However I don't really have time to create a whole video and all due to work so I figured I'd offer the deck list in my other comment and see if you would find the time to play it even off stream would be ok but I'd dare say its ready to preform well :) I hope you enjoy and I hope this deck finds its way into the current meta.

I thought this wouldn't be possible after the change to the C'Thun buffs to be permanent instead of just enchantments. Looks like the Taunt is still an aura effect.

Nothing else can do this combo precisely, because this combo depends specifically on Twilight Geomancer giving you a permanent aura of "when you make a C'thun, give it Taunt." Plaguemaw sees a Taunt C'thun dies, summons a copy without taunt, and the aura gives it Taunt back, making it a valid target for Plaguemaw's copying again. You could try to do something similar by copying Greyboughs to make infinite Greyboughs?

That's why Mark has the minion which gives immunity to targeting spells. Not foolproof against spells and effects which destroy everything of course.

I don't think you won because of an unkillable taunt. I think you won because you had 20 mana every single turn and kept copying and playing your insane value hand.

I appreciate you’ve been watching my videos for so long but I have to say I absolutely hate comments like this. This is an entirely different deck with new cards and buffed cards. Does it show off a similar idea from almost a year ago? Sure. But even if it was literally the exact same deck what is wrong with that? Is there some rule that I’m not allowed to play the same deck again? I try very hard to come up with new and interesting ideas every single day but it’s also okay to just update older ideas as well.

@@MarkMcKz preach, King. some plebs don't realize this is a game, the content is for fun, and the ideas are bound to overlap. Is there a fun way we can make Argus's rush effect turn into a resummoning necrotic ghoul meat grinder of some kind? i love those kinds of combos!
