Making and Testing a Popsicle Bridge!

Күн бұрынIn this video, I have made a 24"/61cm long truss bridge with 203 Popsicle sticks. The bridge weighs about 0.7 pounds or 320 grams and could resist more than 81.5 pounds or 37kg!

I’m going to make this! Will it be good if i use it as a normal truss bridge and add cantilevers to the bottom to hold it up?

How long did it take to make? I have to make it at school and have a limited amount of time. Also, is setup a or b better, all of the weight will be on the road. Thank You!

I think it took me 3 days to build this. Setup #1 will probably have better capacity since setup #2 failed with connection failure as shown in the video.

how many popsicles did you use and how long is one popsicle

203 Popsicle sticks. Sticks are the standard size of ~4.5" or ~11.3cm.
