Making Animation for INSTAGRAM! Adobe Animate

Learn how we used adobe Animate and After effects to make this short looping animation for our Instagram. Animation is a great way to gain Followers on Instagram and social media. In this Adobe Animate Tutorial we show you how to use symbols to make this car animation. Its sort of like making a gif on Instagram.

As a guy who is more of a traditional paper Illustrator and who is comfortable animating with Photoshop. I got to say this video may be short but man the results are so clean..... it has given me motivation to give Adobe Animate another go.

Instead of copy pasting your clip in AE 50 times there's a reaaaaal quick and simple expression that will loop it out automatically forever. Just enable time remapping and then add this expression loopOut(type = "cycle", numKeyframes = 0) . Then you can just stretch out your clip for as long as you need it

very good point. I actually wanted to make a very beginner style tutorial. so i chose to copy and paste the sequence because i felt like it would work visually. but Im going to use a loop out next time probably

actually there's a even easier way. If you go in "interpret footage" way down in the menu there's a loop option where you can choose how many times you want it to loop...you can even copy that interpretation and paste it on other clips you imported....suuuuper easy!

i fcking love you guys. I've wanted to study animation for such a long time, but no college where I live offers it (can you believe that!!) I've been trying to teach myself how to animate, but I get really frustrated and usually give up. Your explanations are very easy to understand, and it's so helpful to see exactly what layer/overlays you use!! Definitely hit that bell and subscribed! (I have to add I literally never press the bell, so you know I love your content for sure).

I like the concept of animation but the exhausting amount of effort placed in it for minimal amount of money. Like a few minutes of animation is thousands of frames and for not much at all for each frame.

This video kind of just blew my mind a bit... actually a lot. Knowing both Animate and After Effects well enough to execute on this excites me way too much knowing that I can now translate my illustrations into animations, and highlighting them on my social media accounts. This was crazy eye opening. I've just started to create little animated chibi gifs for my characters only using Photoshop and After Effect but learning of Animate is great. I always saw the program but never knew how it could affect my workflow. Now I'm super excited to jump in XD
