that green bamboo will shrink when dried, it was tied with a GI tie wire, the joints will loosen and the whole structure will be unstable. bamboos easily rots when constanly exposed to moisture, the bamboo foundation and posts is not a good idea.

Your house looks beautiful! Strongly built, too. The ducks seem happy with their house and the pond. If the walls don’t keep you warm enough in the winter you could plaster them with adobe to keep the wind and rain out. Are you going to have a hydroelectric system later?

Iigual pondría arriba para el eje de la puerta, lo mismo que hizo con una sección del bambú y lo enterró para usarlo como soporte inferior al eje de la puerta. El soporte de arriba lo podría asegurar amarrándolo con el alambre que usa para permitir el giro de la misma.
