FS22 Making bio bales from poplars is the next part in the No Man's Land timelapse series on farming Simulator 22. We start the day off taking a few pallets of fabric and furniture to sell. We then clear trees from the forest in area 22 so we can get enough money to buy an Anderson Bio baler. We use the bio baler to harvest our poplars and create Bio bales which we'll sell over Winter. we then prep the field for replanting and plant more spruce saplings in the forest. We then upgrade our mower setup and use the new mowers to mow our grass field for silage bales.

In game it doesn't really do anything but it's used on a real tractor to push the poplars down under tractor which then makes it easier for the Baler to process them

I was under the impression that poplars grew back without the need for replanting. Great video as normal though.

They do but I can't replant them until spring and u want them to grow evenly rather than have one half at a different growth stage

It will regrow if you leave it, I only plowed it in so I can plant the whole field in one and not have part of it growing at a different stage to the rest of the fields

Amazing idea of dropping the bales in groups of 2 , i been doing that aswell lately. And its made my life so much easier when picking up the bales at later stage. Also , where is the blue bale spike you always use from? Is it from a tool i havent been able to find? Or a mod perhaps?

It's the base game round bale handler configured as a bale spike instead of the default wrapped bale handler

I would love to do some logging aswell but because they decided that the tree harvesters needs this fancy awful steering for the crane i just cant do it. Just thinking about them making the steering so much worse and then keeping it since fs19 annoys me already.

I really enjoyed logging on the Ponse harvester and forwarder in FS17 because the controls felt ok... '19 and '22, not so much. Playing all of them on ps4 with dualshock controllers. I want those old controls back!

What length are you logs at? I am cutting 8 but it makes it hard to transport Will I lose a lot of money going shorter?

Sim was telling in the life stream that he cuts 7m lengths. This will bring up the most money.

7m is what I'm doing as it's the longest you can do on these trailers without them catching, can do 8s if you only use one trailer ok

If rotate the biobaler you dont have to drive over the poplars

No need to do pole the poplars. They will regrow by themselves

It's not on console and as I joined the fields to plant all with poplars I wanted them to grow evenly so was better to plow them in and then plant the whole field at the same time
