Hey, Everyone! I hope you are doing well and your week was filled with love and joy. In this video, I am testing out some Woodenwick products! I used the Aura vessels, virgin coconut soy wax, wooden wicks and wooden stirring rod, which I purchased from the wooden wick website. All materials used are listed below.
My thoughts: I have made several candles using the wooden wick virgin coconut soy wax and so far... I love it! They do make good on their promises of smooth tops and bright white look. The wax is super easy to work with and cures nicely. I still would like to eventually try their fragrances but I am waiting on the next sale (;

Loved your video , very informative . May I ask how you calculate how much fragrance should be put with the coconut wax and at what temperature you poured the wax into the vessels

Thank you! I use 10% fragrance load to wax weight. I typically pour around 175 degrees Fahrenheit. Usually when I mix the fragrance oil at about 190-195 it cools down quite a bit, pretty fast.

Awesome video. Do you ship your candles out? My concern with the virgin coconut soy wax is melting with shipping. Or does it hold up pretty well. Also, that wax recommends a pour temp of 180-190, do you still let it cool after mixing the FO or do you reheat and pour once it reaches 180-190 again post FO?

Thank you! I do ship the candles. I haven't ran into any issues so far and on the hottest day recently I've left a candle in the car for several days on accident and it only sweats a little. Most of the time with shipping it gets delivered 1-3 days. Once it gets to about 190-195 I mix the fragrance oil. It drops dramatically in temperature and I just go ahead and pour immediately. Still great hot and cold throw.

Beautiful work. I went to your site and could not find the candles in the Aura Vessel (the largest candle I found on your site is 8oz). Will you add those to the site as well?

Yes I do! It comes in a pack of 100 on the website. Since I use several different wick sizes, it helped to just order everything separately so I didn't have to keep buying clips.

Thanks for the information so if you have 1 pound of that wax you add 1 oz of oil and if you melt 10 pounds of wax you add 10 oz fragrance.

Hello! I mention in the description that I am using the virgin coconut soy wax from woodenwick Co. (Now makesy) The fragrances are all different and some in this video were blends. If you have any specific questions about the fragrance oils I would be glad to give you some information about those.

I thought the same at first but once I cut the wick down a little shorter than normal it was perfect.

Your candles are beautiful but they look empty...Sometimes you can't go by the suggested fill weight. You just have to trust your own judgment.

Actually, I did notice this! I think I will increase the number of ounces for these jars. The next round of candles in these size I may increase by one oz and that does make up the difference in space...debating if I should increase the price..🤔 maybe I'll keep it the same!

These are the aura vessels from wooden wick. They measure 3.75 in. width x 4.1 in. height fill 12 oz.
