This was my first time making chocolate, before I bought a chocolate/dosa grinder, so I had to grind it by hand! It still turned out delicious but it wasn’t perfectly silky smooth. See my tagged video if you want to see me making it with a chocolate grinder (it has to grind for 2 days!!!). Anyways let me know if you guys have any questions about the process!♥️😙

Just like the Aztecs/Mexicas. For those who don't know, chocolate is of Mexican origin. Chocolate derives from Nahuatl (language of the Aztecs/Mexicas) xocoatl: xoco (bitter) and atl (water)

@@Yoss_eline de hecho si se originó como tal en México (incluso su nombre viene del náhuatl). Lo que estás mencionando es el como se transformó tras la intervención europea haciéndolo dulce, etc. Pero al final de cuentas su origen sigue siendo mexicano

@@Alber605 Si, en eso tienes razón, tanto la palabra como el cacao son de México, sin embargo el comentario original da a entender que el método que se utiliza en el video es algo que hacían los Aztecas/Mexicas para preparar el chocolate, lo cual no es cierto ya que para llegar a este proceso y tener el chocolate de hoy en día se necesitó la intervención de muchas otras culturas y el paso de varios años. Lo que si se hacía aquí era la bebida tchocolatl, que era amarga y nada como lo que tenemos actualmente.

If you dont want to blend for 2 hours and beat for 5 hours, you can add some melted butter or coconut oil to the blender with the chocolate.

The cocoa butter is like a necessity in most recipes for chocolate along with tempering which she didn't do either I don't think so that chocolate's going to melt at room temperature and not have a good satisfying snap like most chocolate should

For easy grinding process you can buy table top wet grinder available in India. There are various options and number of grinding stones

Yesss I actually ended up buying a premier wonder grinder from India after this!! And then I made chocolate again and used the grinder, it came out is good I posted a video about it if u want to see! And I LOVE the grinder it’s such a cool machine

My only regret is that when I lived in Ivory Coast in West Africa and they’re one of the largest producers of cacao beans; it was available at fruit markets at dirt cheap prices but I never even tried one :(

Ahhhhh this is a good question and I would say all the popular ones don’t taste very similar. You need to find an “artisan” or “small batch” chocolate to get a similar taste! Many grocery stores or health food stores sell these
