About the film:
In 2008, Minus celebrated its ten year anniversary with CONTAKT - a free-flowing, improvisational show involving the label’s top DJs and live performers backed up by state of the art visuals. This documentary edited by N Guckian superbly documents the journey.
On the global Contakt Tour, Richie Hawtin and his M-nus team livened the standard light-and-sound mix with wireless, Bluetooth and ID card technologies, introducing “multiple layers of experience and options for interaction.” In the feature length documentary "Making Contakt," Hawtin fans get a unique opportunity to take a glimpse behind the scenes of the groundbreaking tour.

First and foremost thank you for posting this video. It amazing to be able see a little of the back scene of the best party that I've been to. Even will all technical issue the minus team pull it off flawless to all parties that I been presented. Now you can tell this djs are the pioneer of what they doing and what even make more sense is that you can plan all you want it but will never will go accordingly you just have to do the best out of it.

52 comments says a lot. Rich has been doing this shit for years. My friends at Thirteen Network had a party in Hamilton, Ontario that went absolutely sideways.. Richie, the headliner decided not play, because the Soundsystem was not to his liking. I proceeded to play, on my first ever gig. Some dude jumped on the turntables and fucked shit u up.

When I watch this movie in a player on my PC, detected quality is 360p, dont know why is 240p on KZfaq... Some of the track are not credited in the film, the best way to finding them is to use Shazam..

I was at the Sonar gig. It felt like a mass-market techno gig... huge, orchestrated and dead. Sorry Richie but I really didn't connect that night.

the artist cant blame the venue if the production manager didn't advance the venue specs, he should have conformed the LED roof in St Andrews and know that before he even stepped foot in the venue,. one email or phone call will tell you the specs and the pitch of led screen or whatever the system is,

As always, Argentina showing how shamefully NOT serious they are at organizing events. Specially considering what happened last month at Time Warp Argentina ( 5 people died, a couple more where hospitalized because of a probable OD, way too much overcrowded event where they fit 20500 people in a place of a maximum capacity of 13500, too HOT and no ventilation on the place, overpriced water, etc) And considering THIS event had the same caracteristic 8 years ago (overcrowded, hot, overpriced water, etc) I hope Argentinians promoters and organizers finally learn you cant play with people lives, and to deliver a GOOD event.

WOrldwide i can see things like this. Last Year in Croatia the Sonus Festival. It was so Overcrowded. FOr some hours i couldn´t move. Sonus is also made by the TimeWarp People. Money Money Money.

Very interesting to see all the work that goes into the show, but as usual with minimal, very boring. It never goes anywhere! IMO a good set should have peaks & valleys. Not just be a flatline like a dead person hooked up to a life support machine. This is Techno after all.. Let's bring back the excitement!
