Looks fun and I like your process. Also, I see you are not far away - I live in Tigard. I have thought of making a fake street sign for my wife (I saw them on Amazon) - is that something you do or are you more focused on larger projects?

Peeling away the vinyl so quickly can end up badly if not removed at the correct angle.Well, the larger pieces, anyway.

What kind of metal is that

Typically painted sheet metal. Or polished aluminum; various types depending on the type of sign and it’s end use.
