Main ingredients
1. Cockles 1kg
- Cockle meat 240g
2. Canned cockles 1 can
- Cockle meat 120g
3. Canned whelk 1 can
- Whelk meat 120g
Sauce ingredients
Garlic 15g
Minced garlic 20g
Cheongyang pepper 12g
Green onion 20g
Chive 20g
Onion 70g
Dark soy sauce 100ml
Ground sesame seeds 10g
Fine chili powder 15g
Coarse chili powder 15g
Sugar 5g
Miwon 5g
Sesame oil 15ml
Bibimbap ingredients
Cockle meat 240g
Sauce 100g
Rice 200g
Sesame oil 5ml
Seaweed flakes 5g
Ground sesame seeds 1g
Cheongyang pepper (mild pepper)
[Directions]
Step 1: Make sauce
- Half Cheongyang pepper and green onion and slice into 0.2cm-wide pieces.
- Thinly slice garlic into 0.2cm-wide pieces.
- Cut chives into 1cm pieces
- In a mixing bowl, add dark soy sauce, ground sesame seeds, fine chili powder, coarse chili powder, sugar, minced garlic, and Miwon.
- Add garlic, Cheongyang pepper, green onion, and chives, and finish off with sesame oil to create the sauce.
Step 2: Boil cockles
- Wash cockles under running water.
- Boil cockles in a pot with enough water to submerge them.
- Once water boils, cook cockles for 5 minutes.
- Wash cooked cockles under running water.
- Separate meat from shells and prepare cockle meat.
Step 3: Make cockle bibimbap
- Add 240g of cockle meat and 100g of sauce into a mixing bowl.
- Put 200g of warm rice in a bowl.
- Add 110g of cockle salad.
- Add 5ml of sesame oil, 5g of seaweed flakes, 1g of ground sesame seeds, and Cheongyang pepper (mild pepper).

1. Add 120g of canned cockle, and 50g of sauce into a mixing bowl.
2. Put 200g of warm rice in a bowl.
3. Add 110g of cockle salad.
4. Add 5ml of sesame oil, 5g of seaweed flakes, 1g of ground sesame seeds, and Cheongyang pepper (mild pepper).
