We spent the afternoon/evening with George’s sister Mercy and we had some good chats and delicious food. We cooked on the Jiko (coal powered cooker) on our back patio. Enjoy! Thanks for watching ❤️🇰🇪

the easiest way to light the jiko is using the dry leaves from the compound. You have to gather enough for lighting. put the leaves inside the jiko light them and keep adding until the charcoal lights up. or save the ash and use to light by putting some amount on a paper add a little paraffin put it inside the jiko and light. the fire does not go out until the charcoal lights up. when using ash and paraffin you will not need to man the jiko. the wind works for you.
