Making Drawers

I would like to build drawers that will go on the shelves above the jointer in the shop. This is where I keep a lot of my camera gear in the shop. The camera gear is constantly getting dusty and is not very well organized. Some simple shop drawers will solve this problem. I'm going to make traditional drawers where the back, front and sides make a ring and the bottom is slid into a dado cut at the bottom of this ring. Then I will make a separate piece for the front of the drawer along with a pull.
Some of the tools used in this project
Cantilever Clamps: amzn.to/1TJmAFx
KANT TWIST Quick Acting Fixture Clamp: amzn.to/1TJn2DP
Milwaukee 18-volt Compact Drill: amzn.to/1sj855F
Oshlun 8-1/2-Inch Negative Hook Finishing ATB Saw Blade:amzn.to/1TJmTQJ
Freud 10 In. Super Stacked Dado: amzn.to/2gs6lkz
FastCap Glu-Bot Glue Bottle: amzn.to/1TJn0vq
3M Reusable Respirator: amzn.to/2cGwyPL

Frank, I lost my focus on the build of the project when you put the "Drive In Movie" screen on the big door. That was just so interesting and ingenious to put close ups into. A real pleasure to watch how you inject different things! Thank you very much!

I hope that you enjoy making these videos, because the editing and preparation that goes into them is unparalleled! They are a joy to watch, and a feast for the eyes. You are my source of calm, normal videos. None of the clickbaity vibes the rest of KZfaq is giving off. Your channel has something special in that. Keep it up!

John Smith Clickbait is horrible. Its not that common for DIY channels. Diresta, Matthias Wandelt and Steve Ramsay don't do it. But when one starts, everyone else feels the forced to do the same. Viewers can only watch a limited number of videos and clickbait is an unfair advantage. It is unfair for everyone involved.

If you consider your drawers as trays, perhaps cutting some handholds in the sides of the drawers might be useful. I do this in the drawers of my work van and find it more comfortable hefting the drawers around with handholds rather than relying on the drawer slides to carry all the weight. I also key all my drawers to make them vertically stackable. If I take my hardware drawer out, I might want to cover it by stacking another drawer on top if I'm working in a dirty (airborne) environment that day.

I liked the spilt screen shot your workshop door, that was really a great idea. You should cut hand holds in the sides of your drawers/trays since you like to pull them all the way out. I think it would make it easier to handle them, especially if any of them get some weight in them. Great video Frank, I really enjoy your work!
