Although my cold process soap making tutorials are of a tutorial nature, they are intended for people who have a good understanding of making cold process soap. The information given is based on what works for me, however, there are lots of variables associated with cold process soap making and I, therefore, take no responsibility for the results achieved when using the techniques or methods explained in these tutorials. Cold process soap involves the necessary use of sodium Hydroxide (lye) which is a very dangerous substance. Before attempting and cold process soap making you should ensure you are fully aware of the lye safety procedures and always wear the correct safety equipment when making soap.

Everything you do is so pretty. I think lots of sea life would be nice like a beta fish, seahorse, shell, etc because the water and sand colored soap can hold so many sea life creatures. Also holiday stamps and gnomes because a stamped Santa sleigh and reindeer is easier for novices than extruded ones

Lisa you are so talented! I love this stamp idea and had already decided to look for such a thing before I saw this video so perfect timing. The reason I thought of it is because I don’t want to make seasonal soaps as such but want to make some of my soaps appealing for the relevant season.

The stamps are so adorable and the sea theme... Love it❤ you could use also words like aloe with a little aloe plant, olive with a little olive branch, lavender with a little lavender flower, goat milk 🐐, a coffee/tea cup ☕, a beer mug 🍺honey 🍯... think of all sorts of things people make soap with 😊 ... I know you can do a lot of things you are very creative, love your work 🙏

Lisa, Thank you for making Friday evenings so enjoyable, inspirational and fun. It is very beautiful as usual. Maybe a seahorse, different types of shells, a nautilius, some waves added in the future? were you using the stamps with the hande in the video or without?

Thanks so much for your ideas, I've written them down. I was using the stamps with the handle in the video, it probably wasn't too clear as I was trying not to show the design of the tool and how they fit together too much as people often just copy what I do and sell them for themselves :-(

Beautiful soap, as always, Lisa! The stamps do add something special to the natural soaps. Nice variety of stamps, too! Question for you - on the bottom layer you warmed to help it set up faster - what do you do to warm your batter up? Thanks 🌸

Those stamps are so adorable. I am just wondering if you could get a small paint brush and use some Mica to paint colors on them? I love the ones you did they do look so natural and clean.

You could absolutely do that

You could also put a bit of Mica on the stamp itself before stamping the soap, then it transfers into the depression. Basically you spread a tiny amount of mica on some tissue paper and load the stamp same way as you would with ink before stamping on a card. But, I think I live these soaps because there isn't any colour added. They just look really clean.

Yes, in the microwave for a few seconds, and yes, it will always work, warmer batter will thicken faster

Hmm, I'm not sure I'm afraid, I know you can sort a 'shipping company' to export them, but not really sure how. I luckily have a friend in the US who lets me send to her, then she sends them on to me

The stamps are super cute! I have seen some people tap the stamp in a little bit of mica or other color before they stamp (Katie at Royalty Soaps, for one). Definitely will keep these in mind!
