Hi Gayle, I have to say again I love watching your videos. Learning and tutorials aside (because I learn so very much from you which makes me so very happy) you make me laugh EVERY time! I absolutely love how open and honest you are. Mistakes are made, awkward things happen, life isn't perfect - but you show us it's ok. It doesn't have to be 'perfect'. You give us permission to make mistakes and laugh at them. I love that.

I love listening to your giggle and your talking to us. I love how you make the project your own. It challenges me to do my own thing and brings out my creativity. Thanks for all your time in trying to help us find our own voice. You are amazing.!

I am fairly new and I am constantly trying to remember what ephemera I saw and would like to duplicate. I am making each of these along with you, even though I don’t have the same color papers and fabrics. I love having these all made up so I can refresh my memory of what I can make for my journals. Thank you, so much, for just being you. I craft along with you in your Craft with Me series even if I don’t make the exact same project as you. It is nice to have a friend to craft along with!

I never craft along. I spend all day every day crafting so to give myself a break I watch your videos while I have my lunch. Then I'm ready and rested and full of more inspiration when it's time to get back to work. :)

Whew! That second type was a doozie! Gorgeous but super complicated! Chelle’s envie pocket is super cute. You did great, Gayle. I love that you are doing this with happy mail and in the process the rediscovering who the makers are (so we can give them kudos). I usually take notes while watching your videos then make things later. I did that today. I was working in my first journal today and had one of those days where nothing was going the way I wanted and I remembered you saying in a video there are no mistakes just happy accidents. I was able to fix everything and while it didn't come out as I planned my journal emphera came out pretty good.

You are such fun! Depending on what I am working on and what is on my desk, sometimes I create along with you and other times I save the video to return to later. I love that you are going to make a playlist of the ephemera. My sister got me into junk journaling and says we would make a good team because she likes putting the pages together and planning out the journal as a whole, whereas I love making all the little pieces and pockets and decorating them. Thank you for your giggles!

Gayle you are such a joy to watch you're just a lot of fun ta-dah and thingies included, I just laugh and giggle right along with you, and you're envelope tuck spots/card turned out just absolutely beautiful.

Your daughters are so adorable about being so excited and doing so much for your 'meet and greet'!!!! They love their Mama for sure!!! I want to come so bad, so bad I'm thousands of miles away!!!! Loved the ephemera, etc. you made etoday copying what someone else made (more or less), yours turned out just gorgeous!!! And, it looked like it was so fun to try to emulate someone else!! As far as if we were doing it to while watching or just watching, well, in my case, I just watch so as not to miss anything being such a newbie, and then will come back later and try it!! And, I do learn watching everything and don't want to miss a step, even using your pocket for something else, hee hee, and ummm, sort of spilling the gold safety pins everywhere too!!!! Love that you laugh at yourself....makes me feel free to laugh along with you as you are so adorable when you .... as you say....bumble once in a while!!! Hugs dear girl!!

Hi Gayle! I’m watching and collecting ideas. I don’t have a lot of fabric for journals, most of mine is comic in nature, or cats! So I’m considering trying this with mostly paper. The fabric one. I have to get envelopes at the dollar store to try the envelope one. I’m really happy you’re doing this series. 😳 You just realized you ripped the pocket... I just love how you laugh at yourself for this stuff. You taught me that! It’s not a disaster, it’s paper or fabric and moving on! Big hugs! 🤗

I got so excited about this series that I had to make me an ephemera journal and started from the beginning and following making me some ephemera samples for my book.

Needed this as in trying to fill out this fall and Christmas journal. That paper is gorgeous.

I am glad you are doing some videos on ephemera.I have a hard time putting things together. I don't make things exactly like yours, but it shows me how to put things together with my own pieces. I want to try sewing on my pages, but I have lots of doll clothes to make before Christmas and don't want to chance messing up my sewing machine! lol Keep the ephemera coming and have fun in Denver!

I am following along in the ephemera making, but I watch the videos at least twice. The first time is to process the technique and assess the supplies needed. It's just how my brain works. The second time watching I try to do it with you. I stop the video and back it up if I have to go over it again or just pause it if it takes me longer. Thank you for doing this series! I have lots of journals to fill up from when you (we, lol!) made covers!

I love making ephemera. It’s relaxing to me plus having ephemera stash makes me happy. I try to make mine like your but it always gets a new life of its own. My touch emerges as does yours.

I'm taking notes and sketching everything out so I can have a pick and choose on my one day off a week! Love everything you do!

I didn’t see it mentioned in the comments, but when you are using a trimmer to cut a narrow piece that is hard to hold, put the paper in from the other side. Now you can move it to the right measure mark and still have the rest of the paper to hold. Thanks for continuing to teach and inspire us.

I remember you being so excited for your upcoming appointment to get new glasses. Glad it worked out as well for your needle threading ability as you were hoping it would! 😂 👓 Totally empathize as I’m a fellow glasses-wearing crafter.

Thank you so much, Gayle! I just found your videos this summer. Your ephemera ideas are wonderful. I have boxes and boxes of photos and old invoices, ledgers and other ancient stuff that were among my mother's things. She lived to be over 100 and never threw anything away. Instead of adding it all to the recycle bin I will now make truly memorable junk journals for all the family to share. I hadn't known that there was such a thing as junk journals before finding your videos. I'm hooked!

enjoyed the ephemera today. Sometimes I craft with you and other times I save and do a craft when I am better prepared. Don't always watch from my craft area.

thx so much! You always make me smile then laugh. I laugh at myself when I do something that is silly. . I was dressed and ready to go to work one morning then sprayed my hair with hairspray. however I picked up scrubbing bubbles by mistake. I looked in the mirror and my head had white foam all over it. So I thought how funny it would be to tell my kids what happened, then got back in the shower and started all over. I laughed a lot that morning.. I really enjoyed this project. it challenged me to try something I have never tried before. I am on a limited income and through your teaching I am finding ways to improvise. thank you so much..

I'm doing while I'm watching! I had to wait until I had the space to follow (family wanting the telly etc), before I could start.... And in the end I just followed while sitting on my bed. (explanation : my crafting spot is in the lounge, that I share with hubby, adult daughter and her bf, and 11yr old son... So my quiet place is in my room on my bed, so that's where I craft along... If I can't get to play in the lounge)

Great duplications, but with your own twist. I usually do another craft (or sit and drink my tea) while you're creating. Then I'll go back, gather materials, and try my hand at it.

I watch the videos, if something I think I would like to recall, I place the video in my files playlist. i have supplies to make all but not enough space to work on. im purchasing a 6' foot x 24" inch plywood this week as a desktop and using 2 chrome 31" inches tall to have those supporting the plywood. you must have space all under and around you in a small room, which is also my bedroom. it takes time and money to gather the items. so I enjoy all your videos.
