Care to join me in my journey in making Frank Sidebottom's head? You need very few materials and he makes a very satisfying craft project. You can adapt this method to create any large character head.
I explore making his head shape, the utter joy of papier-mâché, making papier-mâché clay and final treatments to make him look special.

I'm doing this for a school project, if you don't mind me asking what ratio of ingredients did you use for the plaster mix and what did you mean by "don't mix too early"?

Not the best Frank head but the best video of how to make one. There are frank heads that look mote like original but video on how to do rubbish.
