Love the use of the multi pin measuring device to check left to right symmetry between shoes. Beautiful work as always and a pleasure to watch.

This is why real shoes are expensive. So much labor, time and skill costs money.

Initially i was a bit annoyed with the background noises as i listen to this channel for my study, then i changed my mind to appreciate the background noises as they were real people’s life sounds. Better than bad music actually. I miss korean smells and noises (sometimes not so good but still lively so lovely). Thank you Terry!

This artist gives Italian shoemakers a run for their money. I wish I could afford a pair of his shoes. Great work!

A true craftsman, I loved watching this from start to finish. I can't believe the detail in doing everything by hand. I've watched so many videos of cobblers repairing or making shoes/boots from scratch and they all use stitching machines and mechanical equipment. This was a real pleasure to watch.

Thank you. That was amazing ! I just wish the spot where he goes from making the inner leather piece to the outer leather body isn’t show. So we don’t see how me made the actual outside of the shoe. I don’t know how he crafted the pieces for it all!!! I really sit understand why this whole part wouldn’t be taken out if the video? It’s not as is he would need to hide his knowledge from the world as if everyone was going to take away how he did it and take his work from him. I just don’t get it. We literally see him do some of the Mondale stuff for several minutes and then the entire body of the upper is not shown to us to watch? Oh boy was that disappointing. Alright, well, for his artistry I thank him and you for showing us all of the rest of this process. Cheers

I never understand how the wood shoe mold can be removed after so much glue has been applied. Amazing work.
@jerodmccarty10832 жыл бұрын
the glue is on the inside lining and toe box, not the shoe last. no explanation from the content creator is problematic.
@WIIRTUOSO Жыл бұрын
That mold is wood?? I thought that was made of plastic.

@@jerodmccarty1083 Is it really problematic?
@jerodmccarty1083 Жыл бұрын
@@r.rodriguez4991as a bootmaker it's not problematic for me since this is what I do. The op should at the very least give an explanation.

I thought I had a basic understanding of shoemaking, but there were so many more layers than I knew. I wish I had the means to buy handmade shoes because I have both large feet, with orthotic issues, combined with a slightly shorter leg and very picky tastes, but these shoes are a shape that I find pleasing.

I`ve just started out making shoes by hand and even stitching everything by hand. I`m impressed by the discipline by which you execute your work. I`ve noticed that my shoe lasts are a bit different from yours. Mine have this metal plate at the bottom of the heel and yours don`t have it. What is the duty of this plate and if I were to remove it what would happen to my last. The reason I want to remove this metal plate is because whenever I hammer nails into my last to keep my leather uppers in shape , my nails don`t go through and I end up on the sides of the shoe last instead of the bottom of the last. I`ll wait for anyone with an answer or soulution to this dilemma

Beautiful ! This is what fine hand-crafted shoes look like. I happened to have bought a pair in this style from an online "Italian" company. The photos were of all leather boots, but the actual product was plastic from China ! Grrrr ... I won't make that mistake again ! And I will definitely go for hand made shoes which are well worth the expense !

I'm kinda curious where the market for this nicely made of chukka's exists? Like chukkas are relatively informal, so a hyper rich person couldn't find a good use for these outside of casual wear, which at that point just buy some $500 factory made ones instead, they'll still be incredibly luxurious and comfortable at that price. I'd only ever consider purchasing dress shoes at this price.
